We've had several people ask how we load and/or unload the Spyders from the truck. So, we have created a new updated video showing how we do both (load and unload - sped up of course). The Smart Car can be loaded on the truck in place of the Spyders too. There are two 12 foot ramps from Discount Ramps and one 9 foot from Black Widow. See how many beers at the end...whew!

Great Job! We've watched this video 3 times! How long are your Spyders? We have a Spyder RT LTD and wonder if we could do the same type setup?

We can put our Smart car up there too. The F3T is 104". Older RTs are 105". The newer RTs are 111" . The Smart Car is 106". Legal width is 102". So, we are pushing it with the Spyders and the Smart Car. The newer RTs may be too long.

They haven't made another one to date. However, our bed was a conversion of the existing Smart Car bed. So, from scratch there may be some improvements or short cuts. We can still put the Smart car up there in place of the bikes if we want to.

Is there a limit on the Length of truck and RV

Most states are 65 feet. However, if you drive courteously, don't speed and stay to the right lanes, no one seems to mind. We have had DOT and law enforcement check us out while on the road and didn't mess with us. 3 years and no problems to date.

Never. We watch the weather and do some homework about parks and recommended roads for bike rides before taking them down. It's really nice when we meet other bikers and they show us great roads or restaurants.

That’s quite a set up. I just did a cross country solo trip on my Spyder pulling a SunLite Excel2 motorcycle camper. I had a great adventure but the first thing I did when I got back home is buy a small toy hauler. I appreciate you guys showing off your rig.

Amazing!!! Liked, subscribed and shared. I just bought a 2021 RT Limited, and I am trying figure out the best setup for us. My wife has a mobility scooter and a wheelchair. I want to tow 1 of them behind the Spyder. Also trying to decide how to tow everything behind our C Class Motorhome. I want to keep the setup as light and as small as possible. Any thoughts? Keep on Rolling and 😃

Cool set up. So why the extension cord to the truck? We took our two wheeled motorcycles on our truck in a "shed" behind the cab. Sleeper removed. Could do this with a Kenworth T600. Got the motorcycles up using the TKloader system. Each on their own. Worked pretty good. So how many thousands of people do you have watching and taking pictures when you unload and load the bikes? We had several to none at all at times. Thanks for the video.

We need 110 volt to power the hydraulic lift. So we either use the campground power or the generator. Sounds like you have a good set up too. We have had up to 30 watching us...a bike group in Texas. We do get quite a few photos taken as we drive down the road.

From the minute we start to the truck being locked up, about 40 minutes to unload and 50 to load.

Hi Alex. Thanks for watching. You're not having to maintain an additional 4 tires, 2 sets of brakes, brake drums, drive shaft, u-joints, shocks, air bags, etc. Plus hauling a couple 1000 pounds of weight when you don't have to have it. Also mileage is improved with single axle.

Wow, You guys work together like a well oiled machine. I am still trying to get my wife to work in sync with me but its a lot of work. She is getting better but still disappears on me when hooking/unhooking at the park. Atleast she got the hooking/unhooking the towed down to a science. Can you put a full size spyder on the back. Like a sea to sky bike.

You wouldn't be able to stack a Can-Am RT Spyder as it is too tall. Only one would fit. Anything can go up there as long as it isn't more than 8.5 feet wide (width of the truck) and 13 feet tall, but have to leave enough room behind it for the RV to swing. Whatever you put on there couldn't be more than 75 " from the drom box. (or there abouts)

What a great setup for the bikes. Karen, you're riding those bikes like you've been riding for years. Your setup is alot better than my families, we used load our bikes into my van, what mess. But the fun starts after unloading. Wow, only six beers. I figured at least 3 for each bike, 3 for ramps, another 3 for misc. 🤓🤓🤓🤓 Thanks for video. Stay safe.
