So the windscreen was on, but the diesel engine provided that wonderful hum during my commentary as well as the Captain,s (sorry)! The trip was $25 and well worth it! If you enjoyed the video and trip hit that 'Thanks' button and show your support for the Nu Yawk channel! Thanks for subscribing and hitting that thumbs up as well!
Enjoyed watching something I would never do, but would enjoy (I wouldn't do it because gambling gets in the way in Atlantic City). Thanks for taking us along on your 105degree journey (maybe it was cooler out there. I had fun, especially watching you lick your chops when they talked about a drink special. Wow! Always in pursuit of a good time)
Been on the boat once and it was not bad and we like breakfast at Gilcrest. Glad to hear the aquarium will be back open soon. I will be on the GN deck this week for a drink and sunshine. Thanks for the video.
Thanks Penny D! I know you'll enjoy The Deck at the Golden Nugget, I always do! The video should be out next week. Thanks for watching and subscribing!
Hey Jeff great video once again, to bad the water was choppy we take that cruise or the dolphin cruise very year and it's always fun Gardner's Basin is a hidden gem for locals mostly. Good bars there oh and most of the illegal buzz used to come in thru there back in the Nucky era.
This is something I haven't done looks like fun I'll have to give it a try I didn't know of this tour boat but I know there's another one that sits real flat and low to the water I think it goes out into the bay they turn around and come back underneath the Brigantine bridge I want to say it's called The High Roller but I could be wrong
For a really good breakfast/lunch that may or may not have a long line, just outside of AC on US-9 is The Cracked Egg Cafe in Galloway, NJ. Excellent place which my wife and I go to for every Atlantic City visit ever since we struck out with the one time we tried to go to Denny's on US-30/White Horse Pike. (the wait for Denny's was over an hour and we saw the billboard for The Cracked Egg on the way to Denny's, so we went there instead and loved it)
@@NuYawk Yep, despite the name, they serve items other than eggs! :) I recommend typing their name into facebook to see some of the items they make, one interesting one is Double Chocolate Raspberry Pancakes the chef made for a test run in May.
If I remember correctly you did a boat cruise in the past and it was super foggy. I love gardners basin wish they would develop/redevelopment it. So much has closed. Gilchrist used to be a nice little secret ..no more! Did you knock back a drink?
I try to do this once a year. You're correct about the fog. I think a tip here is to not do the first cruise of the day simply due to tide changes and morning fog. Regardless, It's a fun time. I did not drink on the boat but had an ice cold brew at The Deck at the Golden Nugget (video soon!). Thanks Joel!
On another news note. Ac just recieved 6million from the government to start replacing boardwalk. First area will be from Florida to Missouri Ave. I believe they eventually will be replacing it all thru the new infrastructure bills.
I saw your email regarding this this morning. Thanks for the info Joel. I can't tell you how many time I tripped on the boards! Luckily I never fell flat on my face (yet).
Thanks for the video Jeff! The cruise was great!! I haven’t been on a boat since Miami pre Covid. 😭 Looks like something the girls would enjoy also so that’s a plus! 😀
Nice, looks relaxing! Do you have a video of the deck bar at Golden Nugget. I never made it there either. I understand you can pay $20 a day to use the pool and deck if your not a guest. Thanks,
Here is last year's Deck video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yiIZL7eOnf8.html It's my favorite hangout on the marina side of town! I was just there last week and have another video coming probably next week. Stay tuned! Thanks for watching Cranium Lost!
@@craniumlost6439 l Last time I stayed at the Golden Nugget was last Winter and the pool was closed. Perhaps I'll book a room before the pool closes this year!
@@craniumlost6439 If I dont get a room before the pool closes, perhaps I'll just spring for the $20. I think I'm staying at the Borgata up the street in a week or two. Thanks again!
