This deck is nothing but toxic. The current set 4 meta is disgusting because of this deck. I already miss the set 3 meta times, when I was able to play this game with cards in my hands, even when I was loosing I had fun. Against the new GS discards I don’t even have fun when winning. @@Xoulrath_ Introducing a discard meta this early into card development is kinda mental lmao. Esp when card draw on every color but basically Emerald is costly. Def a mistep, but to further support that meta in a following set is disheartening. Im not competitive at all so I just dont enjoy the playstyle of this or hero-songs decks. Denying your opponent any gameplay is just lame to me lmao.
@@DMsubble yeah, I've always made the argument that you can't really be playing a card game if your opponent doesn't have cards to play. Being forced to play every card to the board, or having it discarded is not a choice if you wish to hope to win. It is bad game design. I give Ravensburger a lot of credit for a lot of their decisions with Lorcana, but the actual design of a deck archetype that forces discards and gives card advantage at the same time is BAD design lol. 🤦🏻♂️🤷♂️🤣
A comment says you removed Ursula deceiver of all from the deck but there’s 3 of them in the deck list posted. Is there an updated list without driver of all?
It's popping back in and out. You can play either list. The last Emerald Steel video I posted as of 15-June has them back in with gameplay showing how they're used.

@@nathanrhoades6504 they don't hav3 ENOUGH. Having a few arguably bad characters that van attack ready characters doesn't mean that the game is all of a sudden fixed, dude. You're really going to tell me that the 4 drop Steel Namaari is rhe best choice to deal with a 2 drop Bucky? Your hand is likely gone before you ever get to use that Namaari. And hey, I personally LOVE that Namaari. I'm tinkering with a Ruby/Steel Challenger deck around Shere Khan and cards like Namaari that allow me to attack ready characters. But that doesn't mean that it will have the answers that it needs to compete with what the meta evolves into. I suspect that with time, it will become viable. But that won't happen until we've got some characters that can attack ready characters earlier than turn 4.
Easier to out this format compared to set 3. Brawl, Sisu with Ice Block, Shift Sisu, 2 cost ursula more important than ever, etc. There's more counter play to it and easier to deal with. Also doesn't help you have to wait by turn 4 for her to live, which does slow down green/steel discard sometimes
I’ve been running a similar deck build for a couple of weeks… My experience so far is that Ursula, being turn 3+ playable, is usually outed after I play her (with cards like Brawl, strength of a raging fire, etc). Opponents recognize the threat and will take her out if able. In many games, she just ends up being ink. Ink isn’t a bad thing, but it is better to have cards that serve a purpose aside from inking. For my deck, I’m considering trading her out for big Tink (another inkable, but Floodborn and a damage dealer when played).
Just because one color combination is good against the deck doesn’t mean the deck still isn’t an issue. Bucky is such an absurd card if you aren’t running steel you will have to wait till turn 6/7 to even deal with a 2 cost character that’s do bad. Lmao the discard is rough already and having ward on the character too is just absurd.
Discard decks in every TCG are universally despised by a majority of players. I am surprised that the developers at Ravensburger decided to support it, given that it's pretty linear and doesn't have great answers. Even if the answers are bad.
Next set they will release a lot of anti discard stuff because of how people are reacting. They introduced this mechanic too soon and supported it too much IMO.
@@QuantumMercury If it's anything like MTG these sets are designed years ahead of time. So they must have tested something internally, I just don't know what that could be. It's unlikely pro players haven't found it yet, there are a handful of "challenge ready character" cards? I wonder if maybe they tested the set internally the mulligan rule wasn't established entirely? It seems very strange. Even if a card is absolutely busted there is normally a counter to it, even if it's not great. It's like the old saying "there are no solutions, only trade-offs." But Emerald Steel doesn't really have to tradeoff anything anymore with 3 drop Aladdin.
Emerald steel is good against ruby sapphire it always has been but doesn't mean it's the top meta deck. Blue steel and steel songs still beat emerald steel.
This deck is horribly boring to play and play against its the same thing every match its the worst meta to be playing rn theres games where i have the outs to everything rhey play and all it takes is a diablo and its over🤦♂️
There are tons of answers for Diablo. Some colors have more than others, but I believe that every color except for Amber has some type of answer, or even multiple answers. Stop playing the old decks and adapt.
@@nathanrhoades6504 what are they? Amber has no Evasives. It doesn't have cards that get Evasive during your turn, unless I missed something from the newest set. It doesn't have direct damage. It's targeted removal focuses on 5 Strength or greater. What card am I missing that deals with Diablo directly?
ES gets good for once and everyone complains its broken. Nobody said anything about RA or AS when they were dominating. I play everything and can say people are overreacting about ES.

@DarkwingLuck chill out dude. No one is saying anything about the cancer that is yugioh. The problem in ES is bucky, Diablo is annoying but with bucky it's way too much advantage.
