I got the water base stain, white water base finish, gauze on the stick, but what is in the small container that you used for blending?

Thanks for creating and posting this video. I love the technique. Do you have any advice to make grain "pop" under white stain? I plan to use black stain and white wash on quilted maple and would like the quilted grain to show through the white enough to get that 3D effect. I think that combining your technique and that could result in something truly special. Cheers!

Is that white paint you used??? Also, what did you use to seal it at the end? Note: Couldn't really see the final product with all those notifications in the way.

Love this. I'm an artist & wanted to do my dining table. I've seen others use just a cotton cloth, but can I ask what you are using? I don't have nails for sharp edges & a tool would seem more controllable. Blessings

Thank you Debbie, for this progect i used a medecine bandage wounded on a wooden stick. And yes it's more controllable. Happy artworking!

unbelievable!! This is totally outstanding!! i would never have thought of doing something like this in stain. i paint and i draw but it never crossed my mind to stain instead of paint! thank you for this i know what i am doing next!

What are you using to stain? Its not a paint brush. Thats what i have been using a brush.

@GRINwood Your works are absolutely gorgeous! Do you sell your crafts? How would you feel about people copying your work and making their own versions to sell? I'm asking about your crafts in general, not one specific one. Would it be alright with you if I sell works that I have made by copying yours from your videos? I completely understand if you do not wish for people to replicate your original works.🌺
