I used the wiring diagram u have with Autel 608 and it worked perfectly

Had an identical 2007 Beetle. Instead of choosing 1998 with Tango I chose 2008 (9S12). It allowed me to clone out the key...in other words no file to write back to cluster and car started. Perhaps your car had a different processor?

Hi Andreescu. I have a 2003 Beetle I'm trying to add a key to using an im508. It can't read the immo data or cs pin. Am I doing something wrong through the OBD or Will I need to do what you have done on this video please? If so, do you know what Autel adaptor it would be please and where the wires would need soldering or where IU can find out?

You need only the pin for 2003 Beetle and the pin should be in the clusters. Obd procedure marelli clusters

@@sebastianthelocksmithandre1600 I'm new to the 508. Do you know the order on the screen please. I've just been out and all I keep getting is the diagnostic tool and ecu can't communicate or I need the code to enter 🤷‍♂️

@@inagbihal8518 I never used autel for this one. In fact has been a while since I've done a Beetle. Last time I have done it with Abrites so...

Which one you are more likely recommending for the job? Vvdi2 or tango full programmer??

Tango is more comprehensive. I use tango more often than vvdi2

@@sebastianthelocksmithandre1600 well I was trying to make a key in an all keys lost situation. Read the cluster and added keys but the immo light still flashes. Customer found their original and it still works but I don't see the original key in the bin file I read either so I'm trying to figure out if it was a bad read maybe... Also tried to program through obd with pin that it read from cluster but says invalid login

@@mrdaza1988 after reading the clusters, you should write back the file generated by the programmer. Only then the car should start. What did you used to program the transponder?

@@sebastianthelocksmithandre1600 yes I did this with the Autel im608. I also tried to clone key #1 with super chip and vvdi2 but that doesn't work either. At least nothing is messed up because car still starts fine. But now I'm just confused lol
