Arctic and aquatic are still my favorite but the pieces in conservation are super awesome. I also love the na pack so agree with you there. Great video!
Honestly, I'd put the Deluxe Pack in D tier. The only in-game content it has are the three animals, and it costs $12 USD, which is more expensive than every other pack despite having significantly less content. I'd rank it higher if Frontier permanently reduced its price.
I actually was never a fan of the butterflies. not because I don't enjoy their models or anything, its just...you have to have so many extra ones in your storage cause they constantly die and need to be replaced. They take up too much room. if the storage limit wasn't a thing I would use them, but I don't use them because of that.
I can't wait for the Arid Animal Pack, it is without a doubt one of my favorite PZ packs, it adds so many great animals (especially ungulates, which I love) and it gives so much more variety and more options to our current roster! The only downside for me is the rhino... I don't think we needed more than one rhino, one was more than enough for me, and I felt like the white one was totally unnecessary. When they announced the black rhino, I was furious. They wasted a space in the new pack that could've been used for so much more (Sulcata Tortoise), but eh if they manage to make the black rhino different enough from the white rhino I'll simply ignore it and focus on the good aspects of the pack
@@Klatts2 at least where I live, zoos have tons of antelopes and usually only one rhino species. Plus, I personally really love antelopes and don't care for rhinos at all, I've never used the Indian rhino and I've only built for the white Rhino once, so I guess the black rhino (the most unnecessary animal in PZ if you ask me, the most blatant, lazy and uninspired clone ever added) will meet the same fate. Also, why would someone request an animal that we already have TWICE? What's so special about a rhino that's just a different color?
Whats so special about 2 antelope that are just a different colour? And the black rhino isn't even close to being the laziest clone ever. Malayan tapir, HHB and these new 2 antelope easily are lazier.
@@Klatts2 the two new antelopes are nowhere near just "different colors", they're entirely new species that are nothing like what we currently have. First, they have new models that are entirely different from the other antelopes in the game: even the Dama Gazelle has different proportions when compared to springbok and Thomson's Gazelle. As for the addax, no other animal in PZ shares a similar horn shape; the only animal that comes close to resembling the Addax is the Scimitar-Horned Oryx, which still has a larger size and very different horns. The two new antelopes live in a different area and environment when compared to the other ones in the game: they are both from the deserts of North Africa, while most of the antelopes we already have are from grasslands and/or from Southern Africa; the only exception is the Scimitar-Horned Oryx, which again looks different from the new ones. The Addax and the Dama Gazelle may not have very unique behaviors or animations, but at least they provide some much-needed variety in our Antelope, Ungulate and North African rosters; plus, they are very common zoo animals and they are not too hard to come across in captivity. Some of the aforementioned points could be made for the Black Rhinoceros, BUT. How much did we _really_ need more Rhino variety considering that a) we already have two and b) most zoos only have one species of rhinoceros in their collection, if any at all? Also, how much variety does the Black Rhinoceros provide? Aside from the colour it's still pretty much the same as the White Rhinoceros. We already have one African rhinoceros and one Asian rhinoceros, a third one of any kind feels just unnecessary (and even the white Rhino for me could have been swapped out for something better, like a Secretary Bird, but I can see why it was added). I really can't see any reason to wish for this animal to be in the game, or to defend it from the criticism it deserves.
I definitely agree about the wetland pack. I love obscure choices, but not when they can have a much more realistic replacement. Why would they add the Nile lechwe when they can add the waterbuck?
They need to go back and update the animals from the Arctic and South America DLC, great animals in both pack but most look quite old in design and animations. And the aquatic DLC isn't going down the list at all, there's a huge lack of aquatic animals in PZ, I'm still grateful this DLC exists and the animals are great.
This is how I would put the DLC packs in a tier list. Excellent: North America, twilight and Australia. Good: Aquatic, conservation, Africa, South America, Eurasia, Europe and Arctic. Mediocre: Oceania, tropical, Southeast Asia and grasslands. Bad: Wetlands, arid and deluxe.
@@osianosohzrz I don't think the wetlands pack is good since I think both the selection of animals and the models are a mixed bag and I'm not a fan of the fact that the pack has two bovids in it which the game already has plenty of.
