Do you have a pile of fabric crumbs? These are those tiny pieces that are too small for other scrap projects. In previous videos I have shown you how to sew them onto adding machine tape. In this quilting video those crumbs strips will be turned into blocks and then assembled into a King sized Quilt. So stick with me and I’ll show you how to do it.

Karen has shown how a bite at a time with persistence you can eat a whole wedding cake and create a Masterpiece! You can talk yourself out of something but you can also talk yourself into it. Just make your current goal realistic. In my 60's I bought a retaining wall "kit". Then I could not find anyone to hire. I worked on it for 15 mins at a time and now it's finished and gorgeous!

I love this quilt so much. It may be my favorite of all the ones I’ve seen you make. It’s so my style! I’ve been making scrap strips for a few years, but I cut the strips from newspaper, since I didn’t have adding machine tape. I got in the habit of doing in between projects as a way to decompress with a little free-styling-no rules, no measuring, just mindless stitching, and we all know how good that feels. I’d been thinking of using them as a scrappy binding, but seeing them in your FABULOUS quilt may inspire a different direction. I’ve learned so much from you since 2021, with your incredible graphics and mathematical calculations. You could be called a Quilt Engineer. TY for taking the time to put together these exceptional videos. They are much more than entertainment. They’re a master class in the how-tos behind the creativity. 🙌

Two years ago, I saw your adding machine tape idea, and I was recovering from knee surgery and missed sewing. I got some cash register tape and started making my own. My thinking was, if I make a mistake, just cut it out and keep going. Well, I ended up making a quilt called "pick up sticks." Crossing 2" straps over each other on each 12" block. It was fun and beautiful. Thank you for a great idea.
