It really doesn’t matter how good you are, sponsorships are about selling shoes and the reality is CC is the best(ish) player for 50% of the population and her name is everywhere right now. If a business wants to feed her $28Ms to promote their product that’s their business. It’ll either work out or it won’t. Far more deserving than Bronny anyway.

She is 3rd in the league in assists, and in the top 20 for overall effectiveness. That isn't too bad for someone in their first season and who is getting treated the way she often is.

Bad? She just broke a WNBA record. First to 300 points, 100 assists and 100 rebounds. Did it in 19 games being doubled and tripled as a rookie. The record was 22 games and if we just do rookies it was 27. So I definitely wouldn't say she is doing bad. But to each their own.
