I was gifted the huge multi packs of infusible pens and markers and have NO idea how to use them or what to use them on. I would love to see some tutorials on that. :)
Right we have some already. Take a look at this ❤️ How to Use Cricut Infusible Ink Markers with Cricut Explore Air - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1XnAwtM6eTs.html ❓ How to Use Infusible Ink Sheets on Cricut Explore Air - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aXCzU1OtYrE.html
Late to the party and glad I was still able to watch. Would definitely love to see more tutorials on infusible ink! Hope y’all have a wonderful New Year’s!
Would love to see more infusible ink videos. I have a ton I bought years ago, unopened. Been scared it was bad. The markers definitely go bad within a year, in my experience.
PLEASE more infusible ink videos. I have been afraid to try it. I get really encouraged from your video tonight. Would love to see more. Thank you so much. Happy New Year!
Crystal Ann I absolutely learn so much from your tutorials. I only have a household iron and a small mini iron- could you experiment using Infusible Ink on a shirt and mug with using an iron? Thank you
Holy moly you talk sooo fast 💨 Breath girl! I’m just new to the circuit world and haven’t even taken my maker out of the box yet so I have no idea what the options are or anything. It might have gone over my head a bit as a newbie but slowing down when you talk would be great as well.
Thank you Angie! Good luck with your Cricut journey! We will try to make sure we go slowly. In the meantime check out our Cricut for beginners playlist it should be helpful for you ru-vid.com/group/PL9SmZ3XpZpDOeYxAQ_1-zp02ZRLVRFR73 - Agata
Don't worry! We have more planned for 2023! What types of projects with the Silhouette are you looking for? We can add it to the list of ideas we have 😍- Dawn
You can now buy a sublimination printer for $200. I have saved my sub. printed papers for 20 years before printing and they work great. Great video, would love to see more !
Hi there! We love the Cricut Mug Press! So easy to use 🙂 We have lots of sublimation videos for the mug press and even a video showing you how to use the mug press for HTV! If you need any help, we are here 🥰 - Dawn
I woild like to see the best way to use the infusible pens. I had gotten a ton of them & end up having to color in the designs whenevever I use them. I can sometimes use the thicker marker if there is not thinner writing. Thank you for all of your good info:)
Please make more videos with infusible ink, The pens, markers and the sheets. I want to be more familiar with my purchases. Thanks so much for sharing this. And thanks for the Free SVG's and the tutorial on downloading them to my desktop!!!! So glad I watched this video. Will be subscribing for sure.
Excellent video. I just purchased a Maker 3 and really wasn’t that interested in this type of use but your video has really peaked my interest. It got creative juices flowing so thank you for your informative video. You gave useful information about some websites that I appreciate.
just received my Cricut Mug Press w/some mugs, but I’ve been buying their clearanced infusable ink so it’s great to know I can use old ones! 😊 I’m happy to learn all I can about how to best use the infusable ink & the mug press! I also need to watch more of your videos to learn more about how to use my Maker as well! I’m so happy I do not necessarily need to save up for a Sawgrass sublimation printer!
I really like both the onesie and the mug. I have not used infusible ink yet but I will. I am new to sublimation so still a long way to go... Thanks for sharing this video tutorial.
Crystal Ann, the area you used on the mug was the lighter color. I have tons of Infusible Ink I planned on using until I bought the Sawgrass you introduced me too. 🤠 I need to start using up the Infusible Ink so I vote YES for my Infusible Ink videos.
YES!! We're glad everyone learned so much and we look forward to doing more projects. I'd like to see more tshirts and how they hold up after the wash. What types of projects would you like to see? 🙂 - Dawn
Would love to see more videos using infusible ink paper...can you layer it in similar manner to vinyl? Can you mix vinyl & infusible ink paper on/in same design. Love this video! TY Crystal 🔮
Yes you can! I'll chat with Crystal this week when we plan for the following week so I'll ask her to incorporate more infusible ink! You aren't the only one asking! 🥰 - Dawn
Hi Catherine! We are looking forward to creating more infusible ink videos! Stay tuned or sign up for notifications so you won't miss any new videos - Dawn 🙂
It is recommended to be 95-100% . I suspect that since it is like sublimation you can still get away with 50/50 but the color will not be as vibrant since it will only stick to polyester fibers.
Great video, Thank you! Yes, please do more with Cricut infusible ink sheets & yes, please re: infusible ink markers/pens & if they get too old. I’ve had mine a long time & have only been able to use them once (two colours). I don’t think my printer paper was compatible enough, but it did work. It might’ve been better if I had done a second run in my Cricut Maker before unloading my mat, but I don’t know for sure. Would really like to know which printer paper types/brands work best, too. I know laser jet / laser paper is recommended but it’s expensive & I don’t have another need for it. Thanks so much!! I’m a Design Bundles/Font Bundles fan!! Happy New Year!
Hi Ellen-Marie! Thank you so much for watching with us and we will add this information to our next Infusible Ink video! What types of projects are you using with your laser jet? That will help us with the paper recommendation - Dawn
Sublimation Printer will make things way easier. You can also use designs with color splashes and less defined edges. Plus it's super quick. So if you will be making loads of designs I still recommend getting sublimation printer. But if you only want to still use SVG's defined edges and are looking for some patterns Infusible ink is great :)
Hi Anna! Infusible Ink is used like sublimation and works better with poly blends. Cricut has a line of approved shirts, baby bodysuits, and other accessories for use with the Infusible Ink - Dawn 🥰
Hi Crystal, I don't think it is possible for anyone watching your video to truly determine if the colors are accurate or not. All content via monitor screens are viewed via RGB, and in my opinion to truly see if the colors are accurate or not, CMYK would be needed. I think only you, or anyone else doing this project, can truly determine the color accuracy. But regardless, I just wanted to say you to put on a great show and your videos are very entertaining to watch.
That is very true. Often though you can see the vibrancy a bit if there is big enough difference :) But you are right cameras do not show colors accurately
Brilliant video... Have a mug starter kit on order and should arrive any day now. I have one question - is it possible to overlay infusible ink on a product... what I mean is, can you do the dinosaur part first, then add something else separately afterwards? Would the second round of heating affect the first image?
this is awesome since I also have 3 year old boxes, some open and some still closed. I'd love to see videos with more than one color and infusible ink on mugs with vinyl and photos. I have hundreds of files from yall and not sure what to do next to combine photos and words. also videos with yalls sublimations I'd print with EPSON ET2803
Hi, what's about the regular vinyls like iron on, permanent, foil, removable...? I have so many, but I prefer do dtf hacks or sublimation. People don't like the vinyl feel on tshirts
Hi Diana! Sublimation is very popular but it is a bit of a cost for new crafters. I think you can use works best for your project. We would love to see your projects! You can share them in our Facebook group here: facebook.com/groups/1930716583871665 - Dawn
Thank you. Always helpful tutorials! Could someone tell me to how to make my Explore Air 2 NOT cut all the way through the carrier sheet with infusible ink? It's so frustrating especially with letters and keeping everything lined up when it cuts through. Thanks in advance!
@@DesignBundles Hi Dawn! So I use the default pressure. Whenever I’ve used the lighter pressure, it doesn’t cut enough. Am I totally missing something? It just happened again the other day with a project and then I had to try and piece the letters together and keep the spacing right. Annoying! Thanks for the help.
