They make adjustable lowering link kits and all you have to do is lengthen or shorten the screw

Peter, I just bought a 2013 x5 and want to add the same set up as yours. Lowered springs, control arm, spacers. Would you be Interested in Installation? If so, what would you charge? You seem to know what your doing. I live in the DFw area too..

The rear suspension definitely feels more sensitive to bumps due to the air suspension. I'm sure if I disconnected the air compressor and swapped out the airbags for springs that'd it'd be a more comfortable ride.

People usually do them for aesthetic looks to make their tires flush/even with the body of their vehicle. Another reason may be if they add wider tires on their wheels and need the clearance of their suspension parts.

Do you have a spring compressor tool I can borrow for my f85? I can’t compress the spring down far enough to fit the top hat :/

Why do you change the lower control arm? Is it a different length from OEM?

One of the bushings was bad and it was cheaper changing the whole arm then pressing in a new bushing

Do you get any vibration with the wheel spacers. I chucked some 20mm on mine and pretty bad at 60mph

No sir, mine feels fine. Make sure they're evenly torqued in a star patterned like your wheels.

I had a staggered setup and I forget what the front specs were, but my rears were (275/40ZR20)

You'll need to look up other videos if you need a rear springs install, I have bags in the rear.
