All her tips are fantastic but keep in mind there are other reasons for bad breath too. Gastrointestinal issues like Gerd and acid reflux. Post nasal drip also causes bad breath, as does dry mouth. Unfortunately there are a lot of reason that you can’t help and using alcohol based mouthwash makes it worse.

I'm with you Honey. I CANNOT go to sleep without having flossed and brushed my teeth. I can be laying in the bed watching TV, doze off and will wake up and do my oral hygiene routine. I've found that great nighttime oral hygiene leads to very minimal morning breath. I have confidently woke up and had a conversation with my husband in the morning dead in his face and not have to worry about bad morning breath. People don't realize how important it is to THOROUGHLY clean the tongue ESPECIALLY the back of the tongue.

Part water and part hydrogen peroxide, swish it in your mouth for 1 minutes and you are good to go. But also brushing your tongue is key. A lot of bacteria stays there after you eat. Store brand mouth wash just mask the bad breath. And finally floss!!!

That's what I use too. I don't like the store brand mouthwash because it's too strong & has too much alcohol. Hydrogen Peroxide works wonders. And you don't have to use it everyday as well.

Detox teas, pro/prebiotics, dairy/meat free diet, green veggies, & a cheap oral water pik (water & pep-permint mixture) from a major box store helped me 100%... BTW I'm not vegan I just take breaks from consuming meat & dairy at times. Teas & greens help to flush your colon.

I would recommend only chewing gum with Xylitol and not sugar or other sugar additives in their ingredients. A dentist recommended this because the sugar in chewing gum reacts with the bacteria in your mouth and increases the chances of tooth decay and plaque.

Something important to note: don't use mouthwash that contains alcohol. It helps in the beginning but makes your breath worse in the long run. Also, no essential oils. And 1 - 2 times a year you need to get your teeth professionally cleaned.

just another thing: make sure you are brushing with medium soft bristle brush in circular motion. this prevents gum recession. especially with people who have thin gum. brushing harshly with hard bristle can accelerate gum recession. alsooo it is good to spit not rinse the toothpaste to allow the fluoride to work (mostly advised during night time), this helps prevent cavities.

Some people have halitosis due to tonsiloliths or tonsil stones hiding in the tonsil crevices. Some get their tonsils taken out. They'll also recommend gagling salty warm water that will break the solids

This is my recipe for magical fresh breath (floss, brush (with baking soda toothpaste) and wipe your tongue with a spoon) Then for natural mouth wash: In 1 cup of water add/mix: 1 lime, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and one teaspoon of honey. mix and rinse your mouth with that. (put the rest in fridge to use up to 1 week) Instantly removes bad breath and last almost all day.

Fumi, you look fabulous ❤️‍🔥. Hygiene is number one for me. We were thought from very very young age to brush our teeth and tongue. You’ll be surprised to learn how many people do not clean their tongues. Mouthwashes will only smell fresh for 10 minutes if the tongue is not clean.

I had a problem with my oral hygiene after I had children... I started using lemon, baking soda and salt... Definitely floss and scrub your tongue... You can also use distilled vinegar or peroxide to gargle!

I have 2 teeth cleaner/ whitener machines (V White and Myst) you bite on the apparatus and press the button (all according to which level you choose) it cleans while it vibrates to irrigate your gums, 3 levels and 1 level is the whitener all with the blue light and its rechargeable. It works because people have gave a compliment or two about how white my teeth are and I drink coffee every morning. Aside having a infected tooth extracted it kills the germs in your mouth too. That's the main reason I bought it, to make sure bacteria will not come back and kill whatever is already there.

I have never had so much fun and been so happy to watch someone brush their teeth. I would actually watch this again! I enjoyed this vid. I am an onion, garlic person and I have to work so hard not to offend my hubby. So, I have purchased a tongue cleaner as well bcz I have a serious gag reflex.

Pleaaase everyone, brush gently and floss every night. When you rinse out about 5 - 6 times before going to bed, your breath will be fresh. Of course drink enough water. PVEL.

I use a 1:1 ratio of hydrogen peroxide and water and swish for 1 minute versus mouthwashes. I love it especially when my gums are sore or swollen.

Sweet woman that struggle but also are not fond of the chemicals in products. Chlorophyll is your best friend it is an “internal deodorant” helps with breath, BO,fecal smells etc. (Because sometimes bad breath is not because of hygiene but because there is something medically wrong or off so no matter how many times you brush or how many products you use it won’t go away so Chlorophyll will help you until you find the root cause) I used the brand Chlorofresh (the liquid) or “The Vitamin Shop” has a potent concentrated one (PLEASE KNOW IT TAKES A FEW DAYS TO WORK but once it’s in your system and you are consistent you may not even have morning breath). Mouthwash I use the brand “Theabreath”(the green bottle was my favorite). This may not be natural but my friend has pretty bad dry mouth/cotton mouth and she swears by “ACT” gum and lozenges. There are also other mouthwash’s that are great but these products are a great start.
