The reason we do not use metal inserts as they interfere with the phone's wirelessness, you can't use wireless charging and it can make reception spotty. Blocks the NFC - Near Field Communication.

Hi! So far this has helped me so much, because u see I am starting my own phone case business and I’ve lately been having problems with setting up the correct paper size to match the template for the type of phone I’m using and this has been super helpful, but I do have one question. Do u have to have a Sawgrass printer to use Sawgrass and Creative Studio to print, or can u use another kind of printer? (I don’t have a Sawgrass printer, instead I have an Epson Printer. Do u think that would work?) Btw, sorry if I’m being confusing, or wordy. 😅

Question- will all items excluding clothing have the glossy shine to them? I’ve seen a lot of phone cases but they look like matte finish instead of glossy. didn’t know if the sublimation paper or sublimation blanks are what gives you the glossy finish. was wondering if you can do a tutorial on some sublimation keychains? Hi, I recently purchased a sawgrass SG500 and was having problems finding the metal insert on the creative studio to print my image as shown in the video. I would use the iPhone templates they have but it would come out way to big for my metal insert to be sublimated on. Any advice?

maybe look at converting an epson. it is cost efficient upfront however maybe try to forecast what costs will be down the road to determine if it is actually more cost efficient in the long run. I know that ink for the sawgrass can be expensive if you're buying official ink.

Hi! I have converted an epson printer and used sublimation inks all purchased on amazon. If you want more info and details DM me on insta( same name as my youtube). Edited January 2021- I am now using a sawgrass. While the converted printer worked well for a while, it did start to give me some issues later on- somwtimes the machine did not recognise the ink cassette and i had to put a new one. Then it wouldn’t print as crisp as i want. It was stressful. Having a sawgrass is a game changer. Now when I need to print, no fear of whether it will work or not, it just works with brilliant result every single time. I understand not everyone can get a sawgrass at first- for a kickstart, converting the small machine was very helpful.

No it has to be a sublimation printer. You can use an epson inkjet printer and convert it into a sublimation one

No you can't we use an Epson 2720 it's about 280.00 at Walmart or Amazon
