I have my hair down to my waist, the longest I’ve ever had it. Styling it is hard because it’s thick hair. I usually just wear it up in a bun to work. 😪 Until recently my co-workers had no idea just how long it was. I always was the shoulder length, ‘layered hair’ girl.

I’m actually cutting my hair, I just prefer and love my short hair. My hair has always been long and I never had it short until last year (pre pandemic), and idk, it just felt perfect, like a new chapter in my life and within my soul 🥀🍂✨

It's very difficult for black people to grow their hair, so she probably won't. I'd rather her put extensions in to give it more volume.

For someone like me whos a mom and never ever experience having long hair since i was a baby.. (my longest was when i was in highschool, my hair were kinda past my collarbone but then thats it) i am willing to try and have a long healthy hair when i reach my 30th birthday which is 4years from now. Same, I have thicker hair than her but "only" to like ... over my butt long. My hair is also super straight so I wouldn't be able to do most of the styles cause hair ties just slip down after moving my head for a second or I would need more than a ton of hairspray to have it stay in place for a few minutes :D Also, ponytails are just too heavy and lose their shape instantly

Mix castor oil with a thinner carrier oil and massage into your scalp at least 30 mins before washing. This stimulates blood to the hair follicles and they will grow faster. Also the upside down method where you hang your head for 4 mins every day for a week, each month - same concept, it stimulates the hair follicles with more blood flow and they will produce hair faster. Other than that just things like making sure you're eating enough fruit, veg, protein will help if you are not already doing so.
