LDH (their company) has had mixed members for a long time and older groups have members in their 50s, so they have been around for quite some time. Its cool to see LDH gaining more international fans through Psychic Fever.
You sholl is right. A year ago I checked out black musicians in Japan. (For the diaspora lol. Nah but really I was looking at the rock group Queen Bee) and Exile came up several times in the article. I didn't even think to check out the music from Exile and I'm disappointed in myself. Had I have known!
Im just loving the African blood they have in the group with weesa beeing half moroccan half korean (as a moroccan myself im so proud to see everyone falling in love with him and just asking whos he ??😭) and of course jimmy the half Nigerian 🔥
Lmaooo, its always fun to see a kpop fans got into exile tribe. Exile is basically an older and bigger version of NCT. They always known to be a "man" band, and yeah you will see a lot of mixed member here, so they really have a diverse looks. There's actually an era of jpop where so many of their biggest musician are very western inspired, it was in the 90's and early 2000's. They're influenced heavily by hip-hop and rnb, honestly I think the one that triggers kpop is actually THAT era of jpop. And Exile Tribe is an extended group of that era. The company, LDH, is originally a company for dancers so most of them can dance dance. And also LDH owns EXPG, a very popular dance schools there. Shotaro from Riize and Sana Twice used to be their students. Funny tho, XG is actually a successor of another big company from that era. Its Avex, and they have managed some of the biggest dance artists in japan. Its just that japanese music industry today prefer a more relateable artists, so most of their hitmaker is like a pure musician. So I guess thats why they try to promote internationally. If I could recommend one group from exile tribe for you, I will choose J Soul Brothers. yk, you will break more things for them
It's so surreal to me as a long time jpop & kpop fan to see other kpop stans enjoying and exploring jpop groups. Like for YEARS it was so hard to just be happy and enjoy both when you saw random kpop stans come to hate on jpop groups and calling the members "old" because they have facial hair. It warms my heart seeing them finally being appreciated I think we really evolved as a society 😭
The toxic beauty standard ruins all, people just don't appreciate beauty of colored skin, like come on see the world is bigger than that. Why should we follow a white beauty standard when people in the world are diverse?
Right!!? I was huge into Jpop back in early 2000's due to Jpop (hearing Utada's Simple and Clean on the TV, I'll never forget it). Anyways I discovered Kpop/Korean music in 2014 and really loved it but was started to venture back in Jpop again with Exile Tribe and loved them. I kept thinking a lot of Kpop fans would love them but I think a lot of people had the idea that Jpop was lame and they couldn't dance and stuff. Seeing Psychic Fever attract all of these new fans is awesome! These groups are so talented.
nah you guys are just slow because these Japanese groups have existed for so many years but since you guys are only interested in k pop you wouldn't know that
@@KPophome-j9u What’s with the gratuitous hostility? I’m not that interested in the rap/hip hop scene in general anyways. And knowing Asian countries and their blatantly ignorant views on dark skinned people, it’s not unsurprising to not believe it. Also, I’ve been listening to more J-Pop than K-Pop these days. It’s always a phase that I go through from time to time. Maybe don’t assume some random person you don’t even know is as dense as you are.
Only one member is blasian but if you dabble in the Exile Tribe groups you'll find a few more. 👀 Likiya of The Rampage, his brother Elly of J Soul Brothers, Nesmith of Exile The Second, and Mandy of Generations! This group was supposed to have another blasian but he left for 'poor health'.
There are quite a few groups with blasian people even outside of Exile, not all rap/hip-hop but quite a few. Japans music scene is really it's own thing but with styles and artists
3:47 YOU GOT ME WHEEZING 😭😭😭😭 theyre all so fine honestly. I hope you will react to their other song called 'Temperature' !! i think you will like it too
I saw this live and it was chaotic AF too lol 🤣🤭 Yessir Exile Tribe subunit get into it sis!! They are giving us some color these groups now!! And I'm here for it.
raffyy, their song "temperature" was sooo good too, they only had a performance video as far as I know, but still so good thoo, please react to em if you are interested in knowing their music 😊
I hope Kpop will follow Jpop to stop that toxic white baby beauty standard. Japan nowadays be more diverse. Although of course racism people still there but at least they never harmed them. Knowing how popular queenbee (a band that have black vocalist) i see brighter future of society in Japan compare to other east asian countries. Because I'm tired of Kpop fans bashing Jpop based on their looks.
I’m Moroccan and I was chocked when I knew about Weesa and I’m so proud that we have a half Moroccan person in Jpop ✨🇲🇦🇰🇷🇯🇵 + He has the same age as me 😭 He’s my bias for sure.
Pls react to the PPOP ( Filipino Pop ) Boy Group ALAMAT. ALAMAT is the 1st & currently only group to feature a Blasian member ( for those who don't know, Blasian means Black & Asian ) . The members are: Taneo , Mo ( Blasian member ) , Alas , Jao , Tomas & R-Ji ( All members are of age) . The songs/MV's I recommend are: Maharani , Say U Love Me , Day and Night , Aswang, Gayuma & Dagundong . Btw ALAMAT has 6 members ( used to be 9 members ) .
I'm really liking your commentary on anything jpop because you're always just getting so upset with your Bias and Bias Wrecker presence and charisma as a performer and vocalist
Hi Raffy!!! Psychic Fever just had a comeback with a new title track called 'Love Fire' !! It would be great if you could react to it! Pleasee, the song is good 💚
