Howdy! We just started this channel last year so you haven't missed much! Thanks for following us on IG and for subscribing here too! Stay tuned for many more videos featuring all kinds of records. I'm a HUGE fan of Krautrock, so there will certainly be more of that too. Always stoked to share! Peace and love to you too, Cosmic Brian!
I went to Austria in December and when I could, I hit a few record stores in different cities. Most of them had a section actually called "Krautrock". I'm sure they are cool with it and are not offended. I was hunting Klaus Schulze records. I snagged a copy of Richard Schneider Jr. "Dreamlike Land". I NEVER see that record in the states.
Here's hoping no one is offended by my use of the term Krautrock. Nice score on the "Dreamlike Land" LP! Not only do we not see that one in the States, we rarely see it overseas. It's obviously desperately in need of an official reissue!
@@AndyMangele In WWII, the Austrians were combined with the Germans and were all "Krauts" to the American GI. I can see Austrians being like, "Hey we ain't Germans!" LOL.
About the Armand record you got there he is a Dutch artist , Hes a proper product from the hippie area in the 60's .... Ad Visser is also Dutch , he used to be the host on the Dutch version of top of the pops called Toppop , they had the biggest artist's on their stage , you can find a lot still on RU-vid Great channel you got 👍
Thank you for sharing this information with us! I'm stoked to listen to that Armand record. That explains why the Ad Visser record is so much more common over there than it is Stateside. Stoked to watch some Toppop now too! So much great Dutch music, so little time! Cheers!
I think we could all do a little better to try not to offend each other. If people are offended by the word Krautrock, we can all collectively agree to use the alternative moniker...Kosmiche Musik!
