Definitely one of My favorites Quests. It was very satisfying to find the Aetherium Forge and finally help her find peace. Plus i got ana absolutely awesome looking shield.
@@alexmoran7886 No the "Aetherial Shield" is different from "Spellbreaker", "Spellbreaker" is from a Daedric quest called "The Only Cure", "Spellbreaker" creates a Ward that blocks up to 50 points of "Magic Damage". You can get the quest for it in "Markarth" / "The Reach" at the "Shrine Of Peryite" I believe it's close to the location known as "Rorikstead". The "Aetherial Shield" which you craft at the "Aetherium Forge", makes things have the "Become Ethereal" shout effect for about 15 seconds when you "bash" them. The quest for the "Aetherial Shield" is called "Lost to the Ages" it's part of the "Dawnguard DLC". You get the quest by reading the "The Aetherium Wars" book added by the DLC it is mostly white with a uniquely detailed cover. But you can also skip that and go straight to the Dwarven ruin of/called "Arkngthamz". The Book you can get in the "Arcaneum" in the College of Winterhold" as one of it's many locations. The "Arcaneum" is the library if you wanted to know, it should be on the second floor, or the door to your right upon entering the area "The Hall of The Elements" (Main door) after reaching the "College of Winterhold". The "Dwemer" / "Dwarven" ruins of "Arkngthamz", can be found / it is found around the south-eastern border of "Markarth" it is near the "Orcish" stronghold of "Dushnikh Yal". "Arkngthamz" may also be added by the "Dawnguard" DLC, upon entering the voice of the character "Katria" will tell you to turn back, but if you continue across a fallen pillar over a pit that you can use a bridge to cross, "Katria" will appear before you and initiate dialog to start the quest with you. She was voiced by the woman who voiced Nancy Drew in the nancy drew interactive mystery games and I was so excited to do this quest when I heard her voice 🎉
do storm call in riften then go into the ragged flagon and you can see the lightning flashes through the covered wells of the city...in the underground
I found that first one out immediately because in my first playthrough I grabbed anything and everything that had a resell value higher than its weight, including all weapons and armor (which would also become fodder for leveling up Smithing and Enchanting). So I was scolded right away.
If you use a platter to glitch into the room with the atherium shard and then wallbreach through the wall beside it and fall into the void(without grabbing the atherium), it'll teleport you to the door to enter the dungeon she will follow you outside and anywhere else you go(without counting as a follower)
I LOVE Katrina's Quest. I've always loved it. The whole thing is amazing and she finally gets her rest at the end. I also love how LENGTHY the quest is; so many in Skyrim are 'pick up that journal and head to the house on the other side of town; oh no, there's a vampire in that house. Kill it' but THIS quest has me travel all across the map in search for the answer to FUCKING RIDDLES of all things. Yes, I LOVE murder mysteries and escape rooms; maybe that's why I love this quest so much?
It took me 12 seconds of my loot goblin ass on my first ever play through to immediately discover what she says in case you remove her armor, shit’s valuable I am not leaving it there
I only take as much as I can carry.... I don't care about how much I could get from it, I don't wanna be slower than watching moss grow.... Besides I get way more for selling Teas like Lavender Tea, Grass pod Tea, Dragon Tongue Tea, And Cannis Root Tea. And since I can plant those and grow them at my house, it makes getting Gold easy and get way more for that than most gear laying around Skyrim
@@goldenlynx2756 we have such a wildly different approach, I did not keep anything that was worth less than 400 gold but anyway when I first emptied Lydia’s inventory my game lagged hard even with a 12th gen i5 and a 3070ti. I think the most weight she ever carried was around 105k units of weight 🤣 I can’t stop even though I know I have millions of gold worth of equipment to sell I still loot almost every thing I see and then make Lydia pick it up since she has an infinite inventory. so long as you tell your companions to pick up things up from the floor or a container they will keep picking them up until the game crashes… and yes I have nearly a million gold in my inventory, and yes I never buy anything without offsetting the price of purchase by selling stuff so much so that I take all of the shopkeeper money at the same time
@@oli3645 Lol I mean, the only times I get super over encumbered is when I am close to a merchant that way I don't have to slowly walk hundreds of feet or across the world. Though I recently got a mod it's Strange Magic Monsters Reborn, and it adds Frozen Titians which are slightly bigger than normal giant and has a Frozen Titian Club that weighs 300 pounds. So far thats the only new creature I came across
With all the powers at your disposal you would think we would have a way to rebound souls to there intact bodies and resurrect them. Now that would be a awesome reason to play a necromancer and open up a whole world of RP possibilities
I saw the armour one on my first playthrough. While new to the game, I would just loot everything because anything I don't want to keep I would sell, so my idea was that there's no point leaving stuff that could become free money. So when I clicked on her body, on instinct I clicked the take all button, and she said that and I felt bad when I realised her body was left in underwear. I then clicked the body again and attempted to give the clothes back but of course that's not how it works and it didn't put the clothes back on her so I felt bad.
Am I the only one obsessed with Katria, her story, the quest, Zephyr. Whenever I start a new game, within the first 2-3 hours my character has Zephyr and is on the way to the other locations.
One of the times i went to do this quest, the journal wasnt there. Everything else was, but not the journal. I had to go back to the last save. I like taking har clothes 😊.
Hole up you mean after 13 years of playing skyrim there are STILL quests i have yet to find!? Like fully voice acted true to lore integrated bethesda quests I haven't seen? Da faq?
The original 2011 edition of Skyrim is already approaching retro status. It already is if you go by the two generations back rule since it was released on the Xbox 360. Of course, that would exclude the three official DLCs, which would mean no Katria.
Lost to the Ages. It can be started by reading the book The Aetherium Wars, which can be found in a variety of locations but the one I remember offhand is inside Fort Dawnguard, or go directly to the Dwemer Ruin which I don't know how to spell.
Please want to stop making these videos. You’re giving all the content players should be looking for themselves to find. You’re ruining peoples experience and not only that making one minute videos where you’re stretching it out just to make money. Have some self respect and respect for the community that you’re not apart of
