I have yet to try Ardbeg, its on my list though, whenever I find one. Availability seems to be a growing problem in Maryland along with rising prices. I recently finished off a bottle of Lagavulin 16. Took a while to find more but I did replace it with 2 bottles. I'm fond of Bunnahabhain 12 and Bowmore, but more recently GlenDronach. I keep around 12 to 16 good single malts on hand but 300+ bottles of brandy, Armagnac, white brandies and liqueurs. For emergencies of course. Wonderful video, I certainly can relate. Looking forward to trying Ardbeg.
Wow, a true brandy fan. Glad you won't be running short! I'm hoping scotch prices come down a bit. The tariff was the first excuse, then they didn't come down and now inflation. A little competition from the Irish might get them price cutting...we can only hope. Thanks for watching 🥃 Cheers
@WhiskeyLore I'm sure the new temperance movements are to blame as well. I'm enjoying the whisky journey a lot lately. I appreciate your videos and information very much.
It did, absolutely. I will say, one of the few whiskies I've tried that changed heavily was a bourbon. Otherwise 2 years seems to be okay - I've got some that are older than that, that are maybe changing a little, but not overly noticeable for my palate.
@@WhiskeyLore Thank you so much. I will be away for at least 10 months and was wondering what to do with some open bottles. Now I won't concern about it. Cheers!
So I am in a constant state of indecision wether my favorite is uige or corry, so I'm going to try a 50/50 mix and call it uigereckan, I think that will settle it for me!
