I remember going to some of the big local arcades in the 1980s. Some fun stuff. Then it all started going to home games. Before that pinball and a slice of pizza. . You have a great sense of humor. Fun videos. I wish I knew some women like you when I was younger.
Joust by Williams. It was fun as hell! My 1st job was working at an arcade here in Arizona. I started all of the games up everyday and shut them down at closing. Yup! I was there from start to finish. I got to empty the games, 6 tokens for a dollar. I had the Dream Job at 14 years old! LoL. And I was actually the best at PacMan, Joust, Super Hang-On and Donkey Kong. My Boss would change out a chip, add more ram and BAM! It was a whole new game! He just had to get the controller board and it was making money! He was into electronics. Very cool video! The PacMan unit looks Dead On like the original, minus one thing. The joystick isn't size proportional. :) I still want one! Waaaaa!
I’m an old man who was playing this game when it was first released in the arcades. This young lady did a great job of explaining the game and this specific iteration. And she has a great personality and refreshing enunciation.
Laura: (tapping game cabinet) "Just like, nerding out here, checking out all the materials." 🙂 Me: I was starting to wonder if you were gonna switch over to ASMR. 😀
@@thereturningshadow lol! That's funny! I play the Daytona USA racing game the most. The steering wheel shakes when you hit anything or rub alongside another car.
So many classics. Moon patrol, terra cresta, defender, space invaders (obvs), elevator action, xevious, galaxian or galaga, outrun or turbo outrun, daytona and many more.
Hi my friend. How are you doing? Hope that all is well with you. Wow! Talk about a walk down nostalgia lane! Pac-Man was the staple of my young gaming life! Looks like you managed to get a really cool game there! Thanks for the upload my friend. Cool stuff there! I hope that you have a great rest of your week. On a serious note, I had to cancel my Patreon, because long story short, my bank account had detected some fraud activity thus shutting down my account. Once I get that situated, I will rejoin your Patreon family before this month is over. Be well gorgeous gal and stay legendary. All the best to you! PAC Man can be so addicting too.
hey hey ed! Thanks it feels like the result of a shrink ray incident or something and I'm left with this little arcade haha -- it's super cool! Oh my gosh no worries at ALL! -- I really hope you can get that sorted out, bank fraud is so scary to deal with ugh!
I would love to see Burger Time, Mappy, Spy Hunter, Bubble Bobble, and Paperboy. All these games and more stole my quarters in the 80's so playing them with unlimited plays on a miniature version is kinda like payback in a miniature way.
Willow the Arcade game. It was so awesome and only existed in arcades. It was never ever re-released. Maybe because the copyrights are locked or something.
I still can remember when, "Pac-Man Fever", ravaged the land leaving no quarter safe. I was of course hooked like everyone else. Played every version of the game from the arcade version to the home conversion with the Atari 2600. This looks like a fun, compact, and nostalgic gaming cabinet.
I play Ms. Pac-Man in a Pac-Man table-top half cabinet (with Jamma platform) with my dog mentor! The mini arcade is much more affordable though... cool!
Numskull should bring the one that both Ms Pac-Man and Galaga reunion that actually unlock Pac-Man cabinet besides Super Pac-Man and cocktail arcade version
First of all, that Pacman play was edge of your seat excitement. As for arcades, I want to see all my favorite brawlers miniaturized. Turtles in Time, Aliens Vs Predator, Dungeons and Dragons, etc.
I have Galaga 1.4’th scale and the Ms. Pac-Man counter cade arcade I love ❤️ them they are the right size for me I don’t have the space for a big arcade in my apartment.
Great review! Very thorough, you covered the stuff I wouldn't expect most reviewers to address, like the vents in the back and the T-molding. This is definitely a machine I'm considering...
I had to buy one of these when I first saw it, as I LOVE Pac Man and always have since I was a kid. As for what game I would love to see in this scale, I'd have to go with the Original Gauntlet!! I loved playing that one almost as much as I loved playing Pac Man.
thankyou for an awesome video ..who doesnt love pac man ?? i rember playing arcade games aftekypur school and weekends. thanyou for the memories ..i'm 10 years again lol..me want :P. stay awesome Laura
@@LauraLegends aww nooooo :( . well over here we still have places dedicated to arcacade games few and far i have to say but they are stil around :) . i would love to see space invaders that game i addictive as heck . as a kid i use to have the foldeble donkey kong game now my nintendo wii does it for me. sending a biggg south-african hugg to ya :) :) (Forgot about super mario ..before they went all go- cart and haunted housey, hehe).
$169-189 is a lot for a very small cabinet. $75-100 would probably be a better price range, I think. A few hundred dollars more and you can get an Arcade1up cabinet with: 3 or 4 arcade games on it, original arcade cabinet art, volume control and feels like the real experience of the original arcades. The only drawback is that some Arcade1up don't have a light up marquee. Of course having a 5 foot arcade machine, if you have the riser, requires a lot more space - it's more of a piece of furniture really. I think the novel size of these mini arcade machines is good for some people and for the space limited person; however, I think at the end of the day, these things will just gather dust in the corner. The wow factor will wear off pretty fast. They are just too small.
I think I'd have more fun watching you process your ghost anxiety than actually playing the game myself. Your reactions are priceless while playing and greneral geeking out. Overall it's a cute concept, but probably only works well for simple one or two button games with straight forward mechanics. Something like MK or Street Fighter needs to many buttons to play correctly at that scale. Still a fun and cool collectible for the games that do translate well to that scale.
We had a full size one of these in my parents takeaway back in the day, true story! I managed to pick the lock with scissors & play for free, very naughty! Also, this reminded me of that scene in gremlins when they’re playing the mini donkey kong machine.
I would love to see them try a 4 player game like Ninja Turtles or The Simpsons. It would be so cramped and impossible to play but I would love it regardless.
I am glad I bumped into your video! You described this awesome game in perfect detail with so much enthusiasm! I will have to find one of these! Actually the one you showed us is Ms.Pac-Man!
I remember when I was a kid mom would give me lunch money for school but I would blow it all on the arcade. Needless to say I was skinny as a rake lol I would love to see a miniature Joust arcade game, the one with the flying ostriches PS...your the cutest thing ever Laura 🥰
Maybe it doesn't. The Tempest one that LGR got has them, but that's from a different company. :-\ ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ApxBPh3oaKQ.html
Wow! thank you so much for showing me this...I have to get my hands on a bunch of these. I really wanted the 1-up cabinets but I don't have the space for even one of those so a few of these would be perfect. I would like to see a turtles cab but I don't think that a 4 player game would be ideal so I would settle for a 2 player version. Karate champ might be another one I would like...
Hey Kuchi coo.........that word had evolved over time hasnt it. Neet machine, very light looking and portable, hook a couple of straps on that bad boy, throw it on your back and you'll be the coolest kid on the block. Once heard that there are 3 routes to clear a pacman screen and if you know them and when to apply them you can easily beat the game. So what are you waiting for, put on a pair of OJ Simpson glove and give it a go.
The Xmen arcade game woudl be sweet, although it would be a bit wider since it was made for multiplayers at one time. I mean who wouldn't want Magneto welcoming them to die.
