I definitely plan on doing a vanilla video but I am not sure when it will get up! A lot of the vanillas I really love are a bit more expensive but here are some of the more affordable ones I think you should check out: -Mix:Bar Vanilla Bourbon -Pacifica Silver Moon -Vanilla Fragrance Mists from Bath & Bodyworks. Some of my faves are Snowflakes & Cashmere, Vanilla Bean Noel, Warm Vanilla Sugar, Beach Nights (plus they are having their semi-anual sale right now!) -Philosophy Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere Hope that helps!! :)

I need to say - your storytelling and description of the perfumes is so good! Loved this! And I get the development of the preferences, I love perfumes for a long time and vanilla was my thing. But the things I wore 20 years ago feels so.... simple. Now I want something unexpected and nuanced. I think more you smell perfumes more it will change.

My FAVORITE tropical scent is philosophy tropical summer, it’s SO summery and beachy I love it! I know you love the Ouai st. Barts body scrub and I think I smells exactly like that!

I decided to blind buy the travel size of Sunny Side Up after watching. And it is really nice! Warm and woodsy, and the coconut does add that nuttiness. A more sofisticated coconut scent, which I am totally down for. Thanks for the rec! 💛

The Atelier Cologne pacific lime… is SO GOOD. I adore it. Totally agree on how it’s tropical without being sugary sweet. I’m a major topical scent kinda gal so pacific lime is my favorite crisp and refreshing tropical scent for day to day. And I also love that it’s cologne that’s not just straight orange/neroli. While I love those kind of “sugar shock on the beach, languidly laying under the palms with a pina colada in hand” scents… it’s harder to wear them super frequently unless it’s your signature. And if any of you are wearing that everyday, plz lmk so we can be friends. Thank you Lauren! I’m so excited to try and smell as many of your recommendations as I can. I really love Scent Sunday! 💖

Just got Coco Extreme in my Olfatif box (THANK YOU for the recommendation on this subscription box it’s SO awesome). This is so much fun! One of the most yummy coconut fragrance I’ve ever tried. I typically dislike them since they’re so sunscreen-y but this one is so milky and sugary. Literal but well balanced and elegant in spite of its Coco Lopez vibes. Love the idea of adding IsoE super to it so I think I’ll have to try the JHAG you like so much. Thanks again! PS: Oops for got to mention this one is by Comptoir Sud Pacifique so it’s a cheap thrill, too.

I just got my travel spray of Sunny Side Up today. It smells exactly like Ginger Essence from Origins. I put on Bath and Body Works Coconut Cotton lotion and sprayed Sunny Side on top...that helped give it more of a coconut smell. It's so light- more like a skin scent. I like it!

I love scent Sunday! Apparently I need to try more coconut. I'm not a sunscreen fragrance person so I've tended to avoid coconuts. My favorite coconut right now is Mugler iced star because it smells like a pina colada.

I absolutely LOVE Bronze Goddess. I’ve been wearing it in summer for a few years now, and often wear it throughout the year. I’ve gone through at least two large bottles. I wouldn’t say it’s light, though. It’s gourmand and beachy to me, and I get lots of compliments. I also totally dig AG Dream, Gucci Guilty, the original Fracas (this was my fave for many years but I don’t know if you can get it anymore), La Vie es Belle, etc. I enjoy gourmands and white florals with depth, but I don’t get the animalistic notes you describe. Lol! Way back in the day I used to enjoy the original Glow by JLo.

I don't like Light Blue but I LOVE Light Blue Sun. It's just perfect for me. Also, if you want to layer that scent, Soap & Glory Coco-nutty is a dead on match. You can get the scrub, body wash and lotion and then put LB Sun on top and it will stay around forever. It's AMAZING.

Great video, I love coconut in perfume!pacific lime,utopia and Arizona bloom are some goodones.i want to try solar bloom.btw online at nordstrom rack they have alot of the altier colonge fragrances for a great price,I saw pacific lime and lemon island also on there.some new coconuts I just added are kilian moonlight in heaven, memo tamarindo, the sage lifestyle onyx,hamaca 27 87, sucreabeille sea glass and hilde soliani new sipario. Try to get your nose on these you may like them.❤️💯🥥

If you like coconut scents try getting a three sampler set from Comptoir Sud Pacifique. Vanille Coco is my favorite of all time and lately I’ve been layering it with Vanille Banane. Heaven!!

I blind bought JAG Sunny Side Up about a year ago. I tried sooo hard to like it. It smelled great in the bottle but not on my skin. I adore Solar Bloom though!!

Omg. I think I found my fellow RU-vidr who likes the same coconut fragrances as me. Same thing when I first smelled Utopia I didn't think I liked it. But now it is hands down my favorite coconut fragrance. I think it's bc those florals dry down and the creamy coconut is much heavier then. Absolutely love it. I wish there was another fragrance similar to add to my collection. I love Sunkissed Hibiscus too surprisingly which isn't super sweet but it is the most beautiful tropical scent I have

I watched while using my ND mini Zendo palette which I just got in the mail yesterday. Great toasty summer colors. About the perfumes... I want to try the Kayhali Vanilla Coco but the travel size is out of stock at Sephora on line. I almost bought a $95.00 sample set just to get it but stopped at the checkout. Ill wait for the $27.00 travel size is back in stock. I added it to my favorites for now.

I've been on the hunt for a perfume that smells exactly the way old school (like 1980's) Hawaiian Tropic used to smell before they put SPF in it. Nothing I've found has smelled quite like it.

One I find deceiving by its name is Dolce and Gabbana Garden. yes it is floral, but not what you think. smelling it coconut essence really comes through. itis a beautiful scent.

I love that Kayali does mini's. I love perfumes, I own a lot of them, but I love using something different every day. I do end up falling out of love quickly and wanting something else. So I don't want a 100 ml bottle that I am never going to finish. I want to buy 30 ml or less only.

JHAG is the only brand I feel like I can blind buy from and I'll love it. Theres just something in the DNA (probably the iso-e-super). ETA Also during your intro I sprayed some Beach Walk and omgggggg I'm just instantly transported to the outerbanks. eta2: I love white florals and Beach Walk is definitely white floral heavy....

I actually have Sun Saint in an older bottle and I do really like but for some reason it didn’t quite make it into the top for the video! I think I just need more wear time on it to because I love the smell but don’t quite know how I feel about it on my skin! That and Skylar Coconut Cove both are in the same space for me!

Best coconut perfume: Coconut by Tulip. Smells like pure coconut and vanilla and lasts all day. Very affordable too. One of my favorite scents ever.

Just blind bought Juliette has a gun sunny side up from fragrance net as a tester bottle with a sale, so it was under $60 for the 100ml. Also got the Demeter coconut and their kitten fur scent. Hopefully they're good.

I love white florals but cannot do the sunscreen scents. I've tried Tom Ford Soleil Blanc and Replica Beach Walk, but they just don't work for me. They're not horrible, but something about them is always "off." I still really need to test Sunny Side Up!

I got a sample of Arizona Bloom, and I love the scent, but I wish it would have a bit more projection and longevity. It's so faint! I barely smell it on myself. I'm so disappointed because when I do get a whiff of it, the scent is so lovely!

Coconut is a note I struggle with. I love Bronze Goddess in theory but its too much for me so I sold it. Replica Bubble Bath is a freshie with a light coconut. I love that one! X

Went to sephora online to check out Juliette h.a.g. and i didnt see coconut in description? whats you fav.? I Loooove coconut omg !! you got me goin now? whats warm n sweet and one light,w/ lime maybe ? need perfumes. I bought something else from pacifica at target and it is soooo good! I was heartbroken when I found out Atelier stopped selling in the US. I saw the fragrances on sale at Sephora but Pacific Lime was sold out. I figured it was because of the sale and decided I'd just buy it full price. Can't do that anymore. :(

Sunny Side Up was one of my first blind buys, and though I think it's a great scent, this fragrance taught me that javanol (sandalwood molecule) can't be friends. The moment that the sandalwood note hits my skin it projects like a beast and overwhelmes all other notes in the composition. It's so so so sad. 😭

I don’t know what it is, but my husband (who never dies over perfume) absolutely can’t keep away from me when I wear Replica’s (Maison Margiela) Beach Walk. It is the only perfume I wear, that he will come directly to me and nuzzle my neck. It literally drives him crazy.

I bought this and I like it… but why do I smell patchouli? I’m not a fan of patchouli but when I spray this I smell patchouli. It goes away on dry down so it’s fine.
