I grabbed the peppermint mocha hand sanitizer from Ulta and it smells delightful! I thought the holiday scents only came in the 3 pack so I was stoked to see that they were also being sold individually.
If you are trying to figure out how much product something really is, look at the amount and then look at some items you already own for the measurements on those bottle.
Don’t waste your money on the touch land hand sanitizers. You’ll go through them SO quick because you have to spray A LOT to saturate your hand. The sanitizer evaporates almost immediately while applying. They do look cute in the packing and smell great though!
Please do a compilation of your favorite patchouli perfumes!! I love that specific scent note but I’m not super knowledgeable on the best ones. But I trust your opinion!
I really don’t want to be the “turd in the punch bowl”, but as a former devotee of Tarte (if they didn’t have it, I didn’t need it!), I’ve learned that if their mouth is open, lies are falling out. With their WONDERFUL Amazonian blushes being offered in a really nice set, you can bet that they’ll be discontinued within 6 months. Of I hope that I’m wrong, but history has taught me otherwise. 😞
They should’ve included either a full size of the new lip formula, or a coupon to get one for free in whatever color you want. It really felt like a missed marketing opportunity to just do minis. I do want the basket, though 😅
You know I really am not feeling the holiday sets this year. There isn’t much that is peaking my interest. I will say for the Benefit Fan Fest mascara, I bought a mini from Ipsy and I love it! I always have to powder my under eyes or any mascara will smudge on me, but this one doesn’t smudge at all! I’m really loving it. I have considered the summer Friday mini lip butter balm set but I have most of my summer Friday lip products that I got in both sets last year. I have also been tempted to get the Cay Skin lippie set because it has SPF in it
I will say with the cozy and clean set. I use the Necessaire body retinol serum bottle after bottle, and it’s one of the best body serums with retinol out there. I’m 34, so I use the body retinol serum after every shower, and my skin, chest, butt, neck looks 10 years younger! It’s damn worth the price, and I’ve bought at least 5 bottles of them now.
Last year I loved the holiday sets from pharmacy I loved the ones that were the fruity ones , they had tea inspired ones and I think last year they did like on with 15 ? But it sold out fast , now I’m sad I went to the store and got it and was just like - meh. I love that cleanser and I used probably 30 of them, but this was a miss completely for me. I wish they would’ve done fall like a spiced apple scent then did Christmas with like gingerbread , holly or a rosemary scent , cranberry and maybe like another sweet treat set. I also think it would be interesting for them to do the “spirit” of Christmas and do like some spirits inspired scents like burbon vanilla , hot toddy etc . They have options

I was so excited about all the sets but similar to you, I broke down the pricing and most of them are just a straight SCAM. The sizes are soooooo small this year
Starting off strong with the Pharmacy set. I’ve bought it 2 maybe 3 years in a row they use to sell the sets of 3 for $48 And now they’re tiny. So disappointing
Like Lauren said, obviously the mileage varies based on the person, but I've seen a lot of people saying that these are just "free with purchase samples" and thus not worth it. I don't think these kits are the best for people that regularly shop at Sephora. Personally, I buy a lot of Asian beauty and Western indie brands, so I don't shop at Sephora often enough (nor spend enough at once) to get these offers of free deluxe samples. So having the opportunity to get my hands on smaller sizes of products that I may be curious about is still of interest to me.
I don't know why they make hair sets because exactly like you said - curly, straight, fine, thick, everyone has different hair. I declutter anything for curly or thick hair because I will never use it. So I've stopped buying a lot of the Sephora sets because I know skin and hair and makeup preferences so I waste money buying things I will never use
