Well i got a laser cutter it was expensive and not sure theirs will be cheap as well. Here in Australia the cricut machines are very expensive compared to shillouette etc
Hey Ken! I think you have given these companies amazing future business idea’s and they ran with them! You are awesome and you truly have amazing business savvy!😺❤️
Thanks for the heads up with Cricut. You are correct it is a laser cutter. In the document it mentions GLOWFORGE, INC. in the International Search section. Also the 2nd document states “ROLAND”, which is a cutter plotter. My guess is Cricut is making a larger cutter. This looks like the support structure for a cutter plotter. Google it. Put Roland Plotter in the search bar then let me know what you think.
Yesss!! The grateful list continues for me only after 50 years of making grateful lists it can continue to make me feel so good. Everyday is a blessed one. Love Salt Water taffy by the way. Keep up the good work.
I scrolled toward the last 10 pages of the patent and behold the complete design. It seems like it is going to be a machine that is large enough to do like poster size work. I think it's like the big size poster makers/photo printers... a plotter cutter maybe. Definitely look through the diagrams toward the end of the patent.
Amazing review and talk, I enjoyed to much listening to you, and makes me be more grateful of everything I have and just let things happens for me. Muchas Gracias!
Hi Ken… I originally posted this comment on Tanner’s video, but wanted to share since you did the patent research (thank you, by the way). With regards to product #2 I read the patent and here are my thoughts. It appears to be a large-format Cricut Cutter with both roll and mat cutting capability. A pen is shown adjacent to the cutting head, so presumably it can draw too. I did not see a size referenced, but I would make an educated guess that it is 24” (+/-) wide. Part of the guess is that it mentioned rolling the stand into a closet for storage, so 24” would fit most bedroom closets. The patent references it being used on a table, a rolling stand that has catch bins mounted on the front and the back as well as a holder for roll media, and a wall-mount (although I don’t see how that would be possible ?) The patent illustration shows a handle on the left side of the machine… guessing that is to lock the platen (feed wheels) down. If that is accurate it may mean that this new Cricut does not auto-feed material. If you are familiar with Silver Bullet cutters, it would be similar to how they work. Another interesting possibility (similar to the Silver Bullet) is that you could set your own X/Y Axis. That allows you tell the machine where to start cutting on the mat or roll. This would be an ENORMOUS time saver as you don’t have to wait for the machine to feed and check the mat size. Because of the size it seems to me this is a pro-maker/crafter level machine. If so, perhaps it is going to cut much faster and with greater pressure (both features of the Silver Bullet Machines). Sorry for the novel… my thoughts based on the patent application. Smiles, Don.
Hi Ken you are AMAZING i love your personality. I have the cricut auto press andbi love it. I just cant deal with applying pressure manually. I just applied with creative fabrica premium a few weeks ago. I just started my home based business, baby steps and i love sublimation. A laser machine would be great to have hope it within price range and hope they launch it on HSN
Love the information, but this is the 2nd video i've watched that has totally dismissed X-Tool, i have their M!, they just launched the P2 and if Cricut is going to release a laser it's really going to have to compete with them more than the Glowforge, (IMO). that Laser Patent really looks like my M1 also. but lets see, they will probably price themselves out of the market.
I'm thinking it is a laser cutter and a 24 inch wide vinyl cutter (plotter) I looked at the 107 pages on the second one lol the pictures at like 97ish page
I use to watch you a lot but you disappeared ? Good to see you again. Tanner Bell said look you up and lo and behold I saw your RU-vid video. You made me laugh! Thanks for the info and good time.
If that is a laser cutter no crafters can buy it. Or can it be a dtf machines? I really want to know (i am from the netherlands so 😮)… thank you for the headsup😊
I was a chalk couture distributor but haven’t been for awhile and the person I originally signed up under no longer does it I would love to sign up under you I live in Illinois is this possible
It would of been good that the cricut mug maker was made in a way to do tumblers at the same time. I mean expand etc... Just say You're grateful to God for life and sobriety. Amen
