🦅 Flying like an Albatros Over Cape Horn - Day 28 - Leg 3 - The Ocean Race 

I will say it again. Antoines footage has completely changed how this race can be enjoyed, the Southern Ocean was always more of a mystery made up of photos and short video clips, i am sure i can speak for many who really appreciate the footage coming back.

What a superb team. Antoine brings us this amazing footage, Will is incredible, Nico the Navigator is not to be under estimated, completely in love with beautiful Rosie and then there is Boris; the coolest man on planet Earth. You are all so brave. Fair winds my friends.

Antoines Aufnahmen sind das beste, was ich bisher im Regattasport gesehen habe. Ihr solltet überlegen einen Film daraus zu machen. Interessant ist auch der Vergleich mit den 3 anderen Booten, die sind alle sehr angespannt, fahren die halbe Zeit unter Wasser. Auf der Malizia haben alle viel Spaß und sind entspannt (zumindest äußerlich). Boris hat bei der Planung seine gesamte Erfahrung eingebracht und das zeichnet das Boot jetzt aus. Weiterhin alles gute für das gesamte Team.

Nick has done an incredible job to find the best track for Malizia forward. Very convincing navigation. Go Malizia, all the way to Brazil!

The designer team must be over the moon by the way Malizia is performing in the Southern Ocean. She looks so ‘comfortable’ in the big seas. Once again the crew have their own unique way of sharing their experiences which is a joy to watch. Thanks to all. Stay safe Malizia. 👍

I love what a good job Antoine does of syncing the views from multiple cameras, not “cheating” by editing together audio and shots from different times. Makes it much more immersive and cool. Also, hereby registering my disappointment that the re-uploaded “vibes” video from last week removed the epic double-moon by the crew on Biotherm. Let ocean racers be ocean racers! 😂

I still can't comprehend how Antoine is able to catch that drone, with no guards on the blades. That is truly mindboggling skill.

Regardless of the current or final results this team will be a legend in the history of the race. Antoines managed to capture this as no other! and with the balance the team has reached it must be amazing to be able to share it like he does.

Keep up the pace to the end of this leg race. The first time I saw Will was shortly before the start of TOR 2023, he was being interviewed and I was so impressed by the depth and width of his sailing knowledge. At the time I didn't realize that TM would be the team I would be rooting for to win TOR. I have a request that Will give us a daily sailing knowledge class while out at sea? Just a minute or 2. I love sailing races especially this one and would like to know more about the sport from him. I've only been on one sailboat in my life. Thanks

Antoine has nerves of steel! I was cringing in my seat at the end. Just that shot of the boat heading away at speed was a horror that no ocean racer ever wants to see from the water.

In the beginning of the ocean race I was rather disappointed by the not satisfying video coverage of the in port races. I know that this is / was out of the hands of team Malizia. But the footages you deliver right from the middle of nowhere are incredible. The OBR and the howl team brings the feeling to be on board with you to the next level. The team is so positive even when things go wrong. This was I call attitude!!! Every body on board really transports that all of you are really in love with what you are doing. Please continue that way!

Whistling in a sailing boat calls for more wind … this is an ancient Portuguese mariners saying . Not sure you need more wind now , but it occurred me when I saw Antonio whistling. Keep on being wonderful you all !

Boris was right when he called Malizia a BEAST in Hamburg. The hiccup with the christening bottle worried me, but when he fixed it like a champ it heartened me. Ok, I will fess up. I wrote a negative comment about these boats when they seemed to not stand up to conditions just out of Cape Town. But my goodness, these drone vids of the boats flying are just incredible. Epic is an understatement!

Great video and amazing drone shots. 8:27 almost cannot watch Antoine landing the drone (have done it once myself on boat and know how tricky it is even in light wind). I just wished you‘d were safety goggles or sun glasses 😎😎😎 while landing it … not to imagine when you hit an eye with one of the rotors in the southern ocean. Thank you Antoine. Your flying is superb, and your shots have shown what the boat actually looks like whilst flying. Something only a drone can show. I spent many years on trawlers in all sorts of weather and took many photos.but photos or film "from" the vessel never really show the size of the waves.
