@@khushbookaul8095 I read the book. My opinion has not changed. He had hurt her many times. He has a very domineering, arrogant and arrogant character. He abused his power and ordered to replace the magic apple, which she honestly won, with a basket of ordinary peaches. He was jealous and because of petty jealousy deprived her of the prize she deserved, although he thought it was just food for her, and she wanted to bake a cake for Jan, she had the right to do so, since after winning this apple already belonged to her, and he had no right to know without her, without asking her, give her thing to another person. Moreover, he often lied to her and manipulated her.

He's the calmest person in universe, known as 'ice-face' or 'Stone' by his juniors, as he's totally emotionless due to crossing nine levels of penance. If he's acting so impulsively for a mere immortal woman, then he truly has to have something in his heart for her. Being never in love, he couldn't justify his feelings, but the way he always helped and was protective towards her, makes me wonder how could anyone think he's arrogant. As for the pimpon fruit (mentioned in book as Saha fruit), he gave it to Ji Heng as she told him it'll cure her toxin. He had promised Ji Heng's father to always take care of her, so he thought of helping her. He was unaware of Fungjiu's reasons to try so hard for the fruit, as he didn't remember about Ye Qingti, his general in mortal realm, and obviously jealousy led him to do all this, but he can't be blamed as cruel and arrogant, as he was unaware of her love for him, as well as all things she did for him. After he came to know about everything, his perspective about her changed completely (he treated her an impulsive kid and didn't expect her to act so maturely, like helping him in evil lotus land and going to mortal realm to help him), he gave the fruit to her and also tried his best to help and protect her. He was in fact, over protective to her, which sometimes made me feel that he was acting more like a Sugar Daddy to her, instead of her husband or lover. He was not perfect to her, but it was his first time in love, and all wrongs happened to them due to misunderstandings on either sides. He made mistakes as a jealous lover, but none of them were deliberate.

He forced her to train all day without a break and deliberately made her fall from the pillars. He hurt her on purpose, it's no accident. And I will repeat it again.
