Ooooh so excited for this! Good luck to everyone doing the cover contest! I do have a question though about it: do instrumentalists count towards cover artists? I wasn't so sure since I play flute covers and I wonder if this contest is only for singers.

Vocals must be present whether your own or a teammates voice. Creating your own instrumental is still absolutely allowed! It's a detail I have yet to add to the rule doc as I accidentally left it in my rule drafts and didn't copy it into the final rules 😔

Hello hello! Answering on Amanda's behalf o/ 1. Amanda has decided that you can only edit the lyrics to the rap verse and do your own freestyle but the rest of the song cannot be changed. Perhaps an extended rap verse will be permitted but that's about it. 2. As for contact, it's most optimal to use Twitter. However as an organizer on this event I'd like to ask you what other platforms you'd be able to use then?

@@raeyvies I think if people aren’t into using social media, or they want this to be their start and don’t currently have social media platforms set up, it might be wise to set up a submissions email specifically for the competition. Is that a good idea? That is how I have sent competition files in the past.

@@mebreevee1997 yeah I understand not everyone has a Twitter we just assume that most if not everyone who is interested in entering would have a Twitter. Submissions do go through a form not through Twitter, and tw was just the form of contacting should you be the winner. But I can easily add an email option to the form no problem for contact.

@@raeyvies For the answer to question 1, does that mean that I can add my own rap verse to add on to Mori's or is that something else? I'm just a bit confused. For the answer to question 2, I prefer to use Email as contact, thank you. Also, just one last final final question: How will the contest prize be sent to people who are overseas or far from the US? This is the first time that I'm doing contests like this.

@@cedy413 hi again! Yes you can add onto mori's rap verse. As for preferring email, I will be updating the submission form to add a contact email if Twitter is not an option. Just put n/a in that one particular box when you do submit! And for your last question, shipping will be done worldwide so doesn't matter where you live if you do win. That will be taken care of on our side.
