Keystone native plants are drastically better at bringing in a huge variety of native wildlife, like bees and butterflies, dear garden, compared to native plants in general.
How do you find what Keystone plants are for your ecological region?
Go to the NWF.org website, scroll down and choose your ecological region ( in my case it is Mediterranean California). You will be given a file to download, which contains the names of all the Keystone native plants in your ecological region.
