A few months before Terminator 2 hit the theatres, a teaser trailer about the movie was released. In the trailer, we see a robotic assembly line in the future, welding and piecing together the various parts of the terminators. The final shot shows the fully-constructed Arnold model of terminator. So, if anyone wondered how Arnold could appear in Terminator 2 after being so thoroughly destroyed in the first movie, there's your answer. Very nice reaction, Emma.

I was 5 years old when this released on vhs. My grandmother bought me it for my birthday. Just must've missed the label on the tape that said certificate 18 lol. And I remember watching it that night with my dad. Loved it ever since. It's a triumph of cinema, in my humble opinion.

1. Linda Hamilton ROCKED. She's really built in T2. Must watch next. 2. Along with Lance Henriksen/Vukovich and Michael Biehn/Reese also played in Aliens as Bishop and Hicks. 3. IRL ammunition isn't left on the counter. 4. Ginger's boyfriend must be a lousy lay if she needs her music when they rock and roll. 5. Watching people reaction to the eye extraction is worth the watch in itself.🤣🤣

You'll have to watch terminator 2 now, it's even better. Most of Arnold's movies are great. He took a comedic turn with "Twins", and then did a lot of more comedic roles in the 90s, and those movies actually work really well. True lies and the last action hero are funny, and filled with action.

The Terminator endoskeleton FX at the end were a combination of stop motion model effects and a full size animatronic model for close ups. The 18wheeler explosion scene was actually model work with a four or five foot long model being used in place of the real one.

Whoever is doing your editing for RU-vid, whether that's you or a dedicated editor, they're doing a great job of creatively doing transitions, zooms and occasional blurs to avoid the copyright claims while still showing as much audio/video as possible for your viewers. Many reaction channels do not handle it nearly as well. The sequel, T2 is one of the best movie sequels ever, so definitely watch it!

Director James Cameron drew inspiration for this movie from a fever dream, two episodes of the sci-fi series The Outer Limits and John Carpenter's Halloween. This massive franchise includes six films, a 3D theme park attraction, a short lived TV series, comics, graphic novels and videogames, including the first person shooter Terminator Resistance. Before becoming a full time actor, Arnold Schwarzenegger was a successful businessman and highly accomplished bodybuilder, which is further discussed in the docudrama Pumping Iron

Great reaction. This movie still holds up and the twist with Kyle and Sarah was awesome. Part 2 was the best one of all 6. The Sarah Connor chronicles to me was the best continuation of all the continuing content after part 2

21:38 just because of this scene and the fact, that the Terminator specifically scrolled down to the most insulting human answer possible, qualifies the whole movie to be a comedy because it was so unexpectedly hilarious :)

The first two parts of Terminator are classics in their own way, Part1 goes more towards horror and T2, one of the best sequels in all of film history goes towards sci-fi, you'll have a lot of fun ahead of you with this one. There are so many good movies I could recommend right now, but in order not to overwhelm you with suggestions I'll limit my recommendation to "The Butterfly Effect" and "The Lawnmower Man", of which I hope you haven't seen at least one yet.

Great reaction. You do need to watch this movie as it sets the story. But The Terminator 2 is considered by many to be maybe the best Sci-Fi movie ever. If you when you see it you will understand. (after T2 they are kinda just money grabs, fun to watch but only first two are the real terminator movies) 😀

T2 is definitely the best, but I liked T3 and Terminator: Dark Fate. The other 2 were very forgettable. There was also the TV series but it got cancelled.

This movie initial wasn't popular, until it hit the video stores. remember this was done with all old school efffects, and NO cgi. James Cameron did this film with a limited budget, and the next "Aliens" film was done with an unlimited budget.

If you liked this movie then you definitely need to watch Terminator 2. It's generally considered to be one of the best sequels ever made. You can stop after that one since the other sequels aren't as good, though some people do like them. Thist film and Terminator 2 tell a complete story and there wasn't really any need for sequels after that. Also, I liked the editing you did here. I assume you did it to prevent copyright issues, but it made the video more interesting to watch than most reactions!

Fun fact: Arnold was originally cast to play the role of Kyle the good guy but when he read the script he liked The Terminator character better so much that when he and James Cameron met for lunch or whatever he had mentioned it and James liked the idea and went with it and the one cop not the black guy the other one was gonna be the Terminator

Hello Emma!😀Great to see you. I hope all is well in Canada. Great reactions to this film & I enjoyed your use of transitions!!!🎬👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽This movie was really well made for a low budget film. The only two scenes that don't look great is Arnold and the eye cutting, and the stop motion animation with the full body metal terminator near the end. I haven't read the comments, but I am sure they will highly recommend you watching "Terminator 2" (1991). There are two versions of the film, the theatrical and special edition. There aren't too many differences between the two.

You're fun to watch. I first saw this in a theater in 1984 and have seen it many times since. Arnold was offered the role of Kyle Reese, but requested the role of the terminator. Since you ask. Here are a few good movies. I have left out any that have already been done hundreds of times on RU-vid: "Contact," "The Day the Earth Stood Still" (1951 NOT the 2008 remake), "Deja Vu," "Frequency," "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly," "North by Northwest," "Psycho," "The Time Machine (1960 version)," "Zero Dark Thirty"

Arnold during one of his press junkets, he was on Tonight Show with legendary host, Johnny Carson promoting The Terminator. He was telling a funny story of him with full makeup (metal prosthetics and rotting flesh). He was his way to location for that night's shoot. While on the road, Arnold stopped by a local restaurant pick up an order. As he walked in, customers ran out of the restaurant and clerk freaked out....lol

A great movie. You should watch T2 it is the exception to the rule that sequils suck. Really its great. T3 is ok at best. I saw T3 once and thats all I needed, didn't care to see any further

I recommend 10 things you didn't know about Terminator by Mintys Comedic Arts. It has some very interesting facts about this film and the stars. I enjoyed your reaction and I'm glad you enjoyed it so much. T2 is good but I feel that like the Alien films they are two different genres and shouldn't be compared, T1 is has more horror, while T2 is more action oriented and has some comedy thrown in as well still a very enjoyable film though.

Got to also recommend - that you watch, and react to, the brilliant, 1991 sequel 'Terminator 2: Judgement Day' [ again starring Arnold Schwarzenegger* ( as "The Terminator" - same LOOKING, but DIFFERENT version of the same model, ) and brilliant actress Linda Hamilton** ( as "Sarah Connor" again; ) also again co- starring Earl Boen ( as the swarmy criminal psychologist "Dr. Silberman." ) ] Again directed by James Cameron [ of 'Aliens' ( 1986, ) 'The Abyss' ( 1989, ) ect. fame. ] But this time with a budget 15, almost 16, times as large. With brilliant, new-at-the-time, special visual effects by Industrial Light & Magic ( a division of Lucasfilm Ltd. ) *Schwarzenegger, who had - by the time of 'T2: JD' - had racked up an impressive string of action movies, where he played the action hero [ from 'Commando' ( 1985 ) to 'Total Recall' ( 1990. ) ] **Hamilton played "Sarah Connor" in 'The Terminator' ( 1984, ) 'T2: JD' ( 1991, ) and then later reprised the role in 'Terminator: Dark Fate' ( 2019 ) ONLY. In other 'Terminator' sequels, and on T.V. - in "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles," other actresses played "Sarah Connor." Linda Hamilton was also brilliant in ( between 'T1' and 'T2' ) the brilliant, but unfortunately short-lived, T.V. series version of "Beauty & the Beast" ( 1987 - 1990. ) She played the "Beauty" character - "Catherine Chandler" to Ron Perlman's "Beast" - "Vincent" in Seasons 1 and 2, and Episode 1 of Season 3.

Director James Cameron originally intended for the series to end after Terminator 2. The film studios, greedy for money, decided to make a bunch of inferior sequels that made everything Sarah accomplished in Terminator 2 a waste. Only watch Terminator 1 and Terminator 2. You will see Sarah’s AMAZING character development from the first Terminator film to Terminator 2!

The first part where Arnold appears and asks for the clothes , that was filmed at the Griffith Observatory in Hollywood 🔭. And the gun shop scene was filmed at a gun shop near the movie studios .

I'd love to watch your reaction to some classics of world cinema. One I'm sure you'd enjoy is Jacques Demy's masterpiece, _Les Parapluies de Cherbourg_ (1964). First watch theatrical sure, for the thrill ride. Subsequent watches special edition to pick up the extra information and nuance. Never the ultimate cut!
