We are officially convinced by this video that a day trip to Parma is absolutely necessary during our upcoming trip to Florence!! That Parmigiana looks amazing, we are so excited to taste it for ourselves!! 🤩 Thanks so much for sharing your travels!
Oh yay!!! We're so glad to hear that. Parma was great and yes, the cheese is amazing! We highly recommend visiting the farm we did, they are wonderful. Hope you have a great time!
Wonderful video! You made the most informative and interesting Parma food video by far. Much praise to you both. If you have time, check out our Parma video on our channel.
Thank you so much! We love going behind the scenes, meeting the people, and sharing unique perspectives. What was a favorite from your trip to Parma? -Howard
@@NewstateNomads I think for us it was biking to the cheese factory to see how the cheese was made and as well the incredible fresco from Corregio in the Parma Cathedral. We also enjoyed the Lambrusco!
I’m legit jealous of your lifestyle. I’ve been learning Italian for the past 2 and a half years. Thankfully, I can live vicariously through you. Great work, Newstates. 😀
Wow! The cheese making part. Amazing! Well done! Your channel is an anomaly for me. Given the amount of time you’ve been on the platform and the quality of your presentation and topic, I don’t understand how you don’t have well over 100K subs. Keep at it. The algorithm is bound to pick you up soon.
Wow, thanks so much for all the kind words! I hope you're right and we surpass 100k sooner rather than later, but we truly enjoy sharing the journey. To turn this into a career would be a dream come true! Thanks as always for watching and your support! 👍 -Howard
Richard, we couldn't agree more: Parma is awesome! Already making plans on where to explore on our next trip to the area. Such an incredible place to explore. Thanks for watching and hope you'll continue on the journey with us! 👍 -Howard
Stan, I would agree! Katelyn also had good success eating the pasta and bread while in Italy (though she is more of an intolerance to gluten as opposed to an allergy). We've also found decent gluten free options almost everywhere in Italy! Minus the gelato or desserts, of course. 👍 -Howard
You ALWAYS find the absolute best places to eat while on your travels! I gain at least two pounds each time I watch you eat! Seriously, what a wonderful trip you took…I’ve visited Italy twice, but never Parma. Stunning history, architecture and the lovely Italian people. Again, no one does videography like you two. You literally bring me with you visiting new places. I’m still waiting for your visit to Pompeii! I LOVED it and Naples, and what made it even better was that I was there on my birthday. Once again, thank you so much for everything you do! Much love and best wishes, Virginia
Good video! I'm going to Parma and plan to tour San Pier Damiani. Is there a taxi stand outside San Pier Damiani? How easy to get a taxi back to Parma train station?
Thank you so much! We love Parma and we're so glad you're planning to visit San Pier Damiani! There isn't a taxi stand outside, but after our tasting & tour, they were able to call a taxi for us and it came within 15 minutes! Very easy and I'm sure they would be able to help. Likewise, going from Parma Train Station to San Pier, our hotel called the taxi for us. Very easy process!
Lou, that must have been fun! We're in agreement, hopefully our next time exploring Italy will be longer than a month. Hopefully see you in Tampa in a few weeks! - Howard
I liked the part where you cut the cheese 🧀😂. Actually I knew about the parmigiana cheese. I like cheese too and would love to eat all that cheese. Great video.
I'll start with " Happy New Year" 🍾🥂 and all the good it will ( hopefully) bring. Safe travels for one! Glad you had such a great time during your Italian get away. Those excavations were awesome. Europe is a treasure chest of history waiting to be discovered. I'll gladly travel with you and learn as I go. Till next time: Ciao! 🇳🇱 🙋♀️ 🇳🇿 💖
I’m flying to Parma w a 7pm arrival, and an international flight at Milan at 11am the next day. Trying to decide whether to stay the night at Parma and leave really early next morning. Is it doable? Still something to see around 8pm?
Love travel and other cultures. Love what you're doing, I love history, Trying to figure out a way I can do this myself, and just travel the world until I can't walk anymore... lol When you originally said you were going to Europe, I thought we were going to see you squeezing your camper down the narrow streets of Italy. Keep it up!
What a delightful day! So crazy that giant vat of milk only makes two wheels of cheese. I’ve made mozzarella and paneer so I’ve seen it on a small scale, but quite another on full production scale! Makes you understand the price tag in the grocery store for the real stuff. Thanks for taking us along! ✌🏻
Such a great video! There is nothing better than meats, cheeses and wine at a sidewalk cafe in Italy. And I loved watching the cheese makers. So cool! Can’t wait for the next one. 🍷🧀
