I love your videos! I am new also to glueing, though I have been harvesting for quite some time. I am one of those crazy people that thinks I need to have an abundance of supplies before I start a new hobby. So, my husband put me up to making a gluebook/junk journal for my mother-in-law. When I started I had 6 weeks, her birthday is next week and I’m not even half done. I just don’t have enough practice. They make it look so easy on RU-vid. 😂😂.

Magazines at the check out are outrageously priced. I hadn’t bought a magazine for years and was shocked when it was rung up.

Agree!! I have been able to find lots of magazines on eBay with free shipping. My thrift stores haven’t had any. Except Goodwill. They were asking 29.99 for a bundle of National Geographic magazines. 😳😳🤷‍♀️

Hi, new sub. Welcome to glue booking! As a fellow leftie I am in awe at you using normal scissors in your left hand! How does that not give you such bad cramps?? lol Also yes! Learning how to exist in a right handed world! A suggestion for magazine scavenging, check to see if your county's library does book sales or like, Friends of the Library sales. I'm up in Duval county and we have huge library system. There are FotL book sales every 3 months and there are always magazines. I walk out with a paper bag of Nat Geos just about every time I go.

Hi fellow lefty Michelle! 🥰 I did order a pair of lefty scissors, and to tell you the truth I am struggling with them. Kind of causes my hand to cramp up.😂😂 I keep saying I’m going to go pass by the library but I haven’t yet. Luckily there was a thrift store downtown and they had magazines for a quarter so I stocked up on a few of those. My goal is to get to the library this week I will keep you posted and I don’t know cutting left-handed with scissors has always been a thing. I worked in the school system in elementary school, so I always had to cut out things for the littles.🤷‍♀️ right now, right handed scissors are my go to.
