Kakuro, which is a Japanese Puzzle has its applications spread throughout the DILR section of the CAT. The various combinations that are present while splitting a sum into individual, non-repeating integers help eliminate a lot of cases and allow you to get that head start when you are trying to crack a set. In this video, Shashank Prabhu, CAT 100%iler explains how to solve these puzzle types by knowing what the commonly found combinations are and solving an actual Kakuro puzzle.
The puzzle used in this video has been taken from www.kakuroquest.com. You may check out the website for more such puzzles. This puzzle helps a lot. I used to solve it and then within 10 days my speed in DILR increased.

Sir r u launching any course for dilr or qa in which dedicated practice will be done live??? Pls do so as early as possible. .....

Yes Satyam. Will do this for CAT 24 takers. The workshops will start tentatively in August but the live daily drill will be starting from the 17th of June

Main ispe ek detailed video banaunga in the coming week. Reading, writing aur speaking kaise improve karein jinki English weak hai. Tab tak basic cheezein padhte rehna. Jaise newspapers mein apna favourite part (sports, movie reviews, politics jo bhi accha lage). Agar kabhi novels nahi padhi to koi bhi ek novel se start karna (koi recommendation nahi hai to Amish ya Chetan Bhagat bhi chalega). Baaki suggestions video mein cover karunga 👍🏽

@SudhanshuLowanshi Surely Sudhanshu. Non fiction and self help books are fine to develop a perspective and to be able to get research-backed facts that will help you in the interviews. Just that you might not find a lot of ‘new words’ in these books. Vocabulary generally develops through fiction more than non fiction. So depending on what you plan to achieve, you may focus on the relevant genre.
