Hello everyone🙈 I have a quick question: Would you like to have a voiceover for my next videos, so that i'm explaining the steps or would you say that a written construction for the steps (like here) is enough? I appreciate an answer or feedback💌
I personally love when creators have the voice over so I can listen to them as I crochet. It’s easier than having to pause and reread everything. But I love this video thank you so much for sharing 💗
ur written explanation is so accurate the most beginner friendly crochet tutorial I've ever saw yet. and i think the voice over would be a nice idea so yes!
I loved this! My only change to the granny squares was to the last outer section of the "square" (with the beige wool). When I did triple crochets the entire way around, I found that the sides of the square were rounded and not very "square," which worried me about sewing it together & not having straight sides to connect. I changed the outermost ring as follows: The corners were still two sections of 4 triple crochets, 3 chains in between, but the sides of the square were now two sections of 4 double crochets. My squares were a lot straighter this way!
My squares were looking a little wacky so instead of doing 23 double crochets (in the magic circle) I did 25 because I did not manage to make 12 "packets". If you are struggling with weird squares too I recommend you change the number to 25. thanks for the tutorial xx
@@ellalily748 I chained the same amount of chains : 6 They all fit but if they don' t, I recommend to stitch one more if it works better ( I didn't try) :)
Following this tutorial at the point where I am crocheting the pieces together and I don’t think I have enough of that tan yarn I needed to buy more I definitely recommend anyone else trying this it’s best to have three or four balls of the yarn you will use to make your straps
Hey guys, I created an instagram account it's called @75amst ( instagram.com/75amst?igshid=OGQ5ZDc2ODk2ZA== ) so if you want you can send me a picture of your finished project😇💌
I would like the bag to be more elongated towards the sides, can I make it 4x3 instead of 3x3 or will I have problems later making the top edge and the handles?
hey, there won't be any problems making it in a different form, maybe the handles will be a little bit to close together so you have to make them more towards the left and right side😇
Hi I would like to make this bag for my two daughters. it's schachenmayr catania 106 white 110 black 130 cream can you give me the wire numbers for light blue and dark blue please. and another question: with 1 ball of white, 1 light blue, 1 black and 1 dark blue, do you think I can make both bags? thank you for your reply . Bye 😊
Hello, the wire number for light blue is 173 and for dark blue it is 201. When you are crocheting two bags, I recommend having 2 balls of the dark blue yarn since you need the colour more than the others and about 4 balls of the beige yarn. I think one ball of yarn for the other colours (black, white and light blue) should be enough🙈 I wish you good luck😇
Hi I prepared all the inner circles and just saw that i did a mistake on like 6 of them and only have 11 packets of darkblue which makes one side a bit wacky, as I do not want to throw them away is there any way i can still save them somehow so i can incooperate them into the "stitching together" process. Cause I think if I used them on the bottom side its not so visible
Hey, it's okay when the dark blue part is a bit different/ unequal on some granny squares More important is that the beige square around the circle is correct Hope this could help you😇🎀
I am a Little Confused with the first Lines at 8:27. There where the short thin green lines are, should I only crochet together half of the granny square or the whole side?
I would say it takes about 30 minutes, but I can't remember it well because I did it like one year ago🥹 so it could be less or more but I think you definitely can crochet one in that time🙊
Can ask the name of the Dark Blue shade yarn ? Is it the Monaco blue or the regatta blue or maybe the royal blue.. how is it called ? Oh and do you also know The name of the beige shade?
Hello, sorry for the late answer😅 So the dark blue yarn is royal blue from the brand "Schachenmayr Catania" the number is 201 royal, here is a link to their page: schachenmayr.com/en/yarns/catania The beige yarn is from the same brand and the number is 130 cream I hope this helps🧶🙈
hey, then I would make 11 double crochets + 3 chains into the magic ring so that there are 12 stitches in general. For the next row with white yarn I would place only one double crochet into the stitch, chain 1( don't leave out a stitch) and then make a double crochet into the following stitch I hope this could help you🤠💌
Maybe try to make the double crochets tighter and grab the yarn with more "tension"? when you yarn over, then you should have more space and the magic ring stays smaller I hope this helps🙈😇
I had a lot of yarn over from the black and white yarn and also more leftovers from the light blue and blue yarn, but when you make a bigger bag I recommend getting more of the beige yarn🙈
my squares aren't not that perfect so each square is 10cm / 3.9inch wide and 9cm / 3.5inch long. The bag (without the straps) is 38cm / 14.9inch wide and 33cm / 12.9inch long including the ribbing😇
Thank you😇 For the straps you make 5 double crochets with a chain 1 between each double crochet. Then you chain 3, turn your work and make 5 double crochets (with 1 chain in between each stitch) After 50 rows you should have the strap done. I hope this was helpful😅🙏 (At 11:08 you can see how the pattern works)
