I had a degree in surgical dental assisting. And we studied everything in the mouth, the nerves, etc. and not once did we talk about this gland that shoots out this long weird thing. if it’s anything like the little stones you get back in your throat it must have stunk really bad…
I don't think most people allow theirs to get that bad or big. A tonsil stone smells like death, ssa, egg and trash, I can only imagine what this smelled like
My sister has this problem but it is not that large. It is small stones that grow under her tongue. Yes, gross. I referred her to an herb called Chanca Piedra which is used for other stones in the organs.
@@KG-do9wncolloidal silver brought mine to surface real quick, within minutes. Had no idea what it was at the time. I just felt like I had something stuck beneath my tongue, like an invisible popcorn kernel or tortilla chip. Swished CS around my mouth for comfort. A few minutes later, a small stone popped out- to my horror/amazement. Huge relief!
Lemon drops!!! My mom has this condition where she grows these in her salivary glands. She sucks on lemon drops and your mouse salivates more. I can push them out. !!!
A mouse? LMBO!! What the heck? Was that a typo like mouth but no I meant mouse?? Whoever has this in their mouth has got to have a stink in there close to the smell of dead intestines. 💩🤢🤮or shit 💩@@hollylooyeah
I had one in the 70's. It was so painful! I was scheduled for surgery. Then when I was able to force it close to the surface, the ENT used a surgical instrument to cut under my tongue and pop it out! When he asked if I could tolerate some quick pain, "Cut me and get rid of it! It was about the size of a fat pea.
Lol😂 Same here! I swear if I even notice someone has a pimple or something the next thing I know I get one!! Lol I try really hard not to look at things that gross me out so it doesn't come back to haunt me.. but.. then I scrolled on here. Uhggg lol😂😂
I had a salivary stone that was probably less than1/20 this size and it became infected. I had to have my salivary gland removed. I can't believe one this size came out on its own.
I wonder why only certain people get these.. nobody in my family has ever had these or tonsil stones.. so weird.. I almost want one just to see it come out lol
Hello I think I have something similar too granuloma annulare. Can you make a video on how to treat it or atleast how to fade the spots left by it on skin. Please do consider it, it would be quite helpful. Thanks
I wish i never had one but i did. 3 times before my ENT Doctor said we have to remove the gland. You have 4. One on each side of your nose and one on each side of your mouth under your tongue. Your neck swells and the Dr has tp use the same tool as a dentist when he removes it to suck the saliva out of your mouth. To much to swallow. The good part is you get some pretty good pain meds for the next few days
Salivary stones are basically calculus in the salivary glands. You have a major salivary gland under your tongue (submandibular salivary gland) that opens via Wharton's duct under your tongue. This is why it is very important to take care of your WHOLE MOUTH by keeping the oral environment alkaline-neutral when you are not eating or as much as possible. Calculus forms from mostly acidophilic (acid loving), anaerobic, gram negative bacteria making matrix that eventually hardens as it absorbs minerals from saliva that is meant for the teeth.
Unlike tonsil stones, it would seem like it's close enough to be yanked out without having to seek a medical professional or much of it could be cut off .
