I don't get it why people click on these kind of videos only to hate on 125cc bikes or to just tell you that 2 strokes are faster.. Like cmon who the fuck cares ??? If I want to get a 125cc 4 stroke I WILL GET ONE
It's all these little 17yr olds that can't let go of the past😂🤣 I mean I have a 2 stroke cagiva mito evolution 7 speed. But I still love my 4 stroke mt 125 and aprilia sr gt👍
As they have small cc engines there is no need for wider tires because there is no power to put down and it also does improve the handling having skinny tires. Sport panels are a good thing because of improved aerodynamics so lower consumption (low already with the small engine) and better acceleration and especially top speed.
It's almost all about the rider and how good he/she is. And for any Americans thinking this is stupid, it's 125cc bikes (U can't drive bigger than that until you're 18). Don't expect 2s 0-60 mi/h times haha
It really isn't. Being a terrific rider doesn't reduce the bikes acceleration time and there is only so much to be gained on corners. Todays 125s are very underpowered. 13-15 seconds 0-60 is painful.
And now the same on the fastest street legal 125 ccm ever built, the first and second gen. Aprilia RS 125 2-stroke 34 hp machines (1992 - 1999) with a Del'Orto 34 flat slide carburetor. You'll make it from 0-100 km/h in less than 5 seconds. 👍😉
I have that Aprillia and a honda vfr 400 r nc30 1991 after my grandpa... Those bikes are so nice, both of them modified tho the aprilia makes 37 KW and the VFR around 10hp+ than stock. The VFR is no joke it tried to kill me more then once :D
I got a 2 stroke 125 when I was 16 went with a dt125 was quite fast prob 0-60 in like 7 seconds. If u want faster than that go ktm 125 exc but with them it's more maintenance :P
Here in the Netherlands you can ride these when you turn 18 instead of 16.. Crazy. besides that, i dont understand why only 125cc's and 11kw lmao, they're so slow. Very dangerous in my opinion as with motorcycles you obtain your safety with speed. At my riding exam my examiner literally laughed at me because the bike wouldnt go faster than 80kmh with wind in the face on a 100 road, and i dont blame him haha. Nice video though! Enjoyed it
125cc are just safer for younger riders. I started with them too and it is really better when you dont have this much power. 16 year olds can easily overestimate their driving skill and 125cc are enough to learn how to drive a bike.
@@dungeon5028 No they aren't! If you need to overtake a lorry or cruise cross country, 125 are more dangerous. The bureaucrats in the government that never ride a bike in his life make so stupid law's. Yamaha MT-03 is a good bike for beginners for road use. For of road the Honda Crf-250l I have 20 years of experience riding I'm know what I'm talking about.
Just bought a 2004 Honda CBR 125cc. Does anyone have any tips/recommendations on what I can do with it? I only purchased it because my other bike needs some new parts, and I need something to drive for 2-3 weeks. I want to remove the mirrors and get some small circular mirrors. I would also like to get a new plate-holder(?), but I don't know if you can buy it anywhere. Also, if someone has any recommendations for a slip-on or a full exhaust, let me know.
@@christivn2934 I have an 2004 Honda CBR 125 too, also with Arrow, but i think just the end of the system is Arrow. i dont´know that, because i drove it three times and explored that i need ABS or i will die very soon because of my risky way of driving. So i bouhgt an Yamaha YZFR 125 ABS 2015, which is good, because in the fall or in the winter the Honda doesnt start, but the yamaha starts first try every day.

the speedometer of the new cbr is very out of order, it is not physically possible that with 2 horses less it goes more both in acceleration and top speed. there are videos where with the cbr they make the 156kmh on the speedometer and honestly I don't think they are effective.
No they are not, they are lighter and have better gearing which helps with the acceleration. Got my old 2015 CBR 125R to 96mph down a giant hill and the gps recorded speed on the racer app showed 93mph, so at most it would be 1.5mph out at 60 which would be the same as the other bikes. I beat all other 125cc 4 strokes on mine all day due to these differences, they easily cruise at 70-75mph without too much trouble. Check out my other channel Carfanatic182 for the vids as proof.
@@HondaRiderT Maybe its not fast 0-100 but 0-100 is not everything. I had Suzuki GS500 and now KTM Duke 390. Suzuki was much faster 0-100 than KTM, he had 0-100 on second gear what was ~5,5 sec acceleration, but KTM is much more faster on the street because of torque. For another example i was riding on this duke with a friend who have shadow 125, and he easily can stay at 90-100kmph on the road so we can travel together.
Most of these probably dont even get to 100kmh that fast, take gps with you next time. And i know because i have one, but 180cc and it goes like 10s on gps and without gps probably like 6s .

Shit cuz 2006 CBR show real speed, others with digital cluster showing little bit more, + that start and overall that eun on CBR 2006 was poor... (I have Honda CBR 2006)

@@boozy8659 in some country (like Italy) you have to wait to be 24 to get the license for more than 125cc. And it costs more than 1000€. So those 125 do make sense as a starting point in my opinion
