I went from a 2006 330d to a 2012 330d. The biggest improvement is the gearbox, ZF8 Is much better. The engine in the later f3x is far stronger top end than the E9x.

10,6l/100km max combined consumption , if you drive fast all the time. If you drive careful... around 6,5-7l/100 km. In my opinion is a good car, easy to maintain and looks good. Good value/money.
