And our preparation for playing a Blood Death Knight in Season 4 of Dragonflight have begun! Getting a bit familiar with the feel of the spec while leveling and it honestly feels great! As long as your group actually follows you into the pull that is...
I'm excited to be tanking again, I feel it's my strongest role, but this time around I'm less of a team player since I'm playing a class that can help nobody but themselves, other than CC-ing enemies, so I'm curious to see if this frees me up to do well or makes my runs a little harder overall.

1. I can't group with anyone I know
2. I can't stay in a group after completing a dungeon
3. I can send myself gold once I'm 70, but can't buy BoE's from the raid
4. I have to get all the portals
5. I have to hit 3000 Mythic+ rating

You talked about getting seagulled during Eye and it put me back in the war, one of the first difficult mythics i ever did was Eye. Those flying rats are vicious

I hit 2.5k for the first time in season 3 as a blood dk and had a blast doing it. Looking forward to see your progress as a BDK in season 4

In the shadowmoon burial ground run think they are using the slime trinket from plaguefall shadowlands dungeon last boss margrave something. It does a lot of dmg in chromie time even just at lvl 20 trinket. Had a bear Druid run with one in Zul farrak and deadmines and just ran through and the slimes kill everything

Wut dk dps spec is your fav? I love army from unholy but like frost obliterate build playstyle. Wish bloods dancing weapon cd was for everyone the idea of a copy of my weapon wreaking havoc sounds cool but I can’t tank so I’ll be enjoying blood do through these vids

I don't know, I haven't played neither Frost nor Unholy in years and years. I think I'd prefer Frost if I had to choose by my current understanding of the specs though :D

Two things! The hunter with growl could also be that the tank left earlier and he was using growl to pull mobs until you joined. EDIT: Could have been the bug if you level the growl is tossed back on. The other thing is Death's Advanced should be used a bit more liberally. It removes a large amount of slows and prevents you from knockbacks. Like last season, in Darkheart you can just pop Death's Advance to make yourself immune to the dragon boss like knockback push thing. It's a really fun ability to negate a lot of CCs and pushbacks. Can't wait to see your progress tho!

I would use it more thoughtfully if I didn't use it just for the movement speed when grouping mobs. I didn't have two charges until the last two dungeons

No one EVER uses Tombstone defensively. The shield is handy, but frankly you get more from just a well-timed deathstrike.

Chains in neltharus are available only on mythic difficulty

Nah, they're there all the time, they can only be used once though, and the healer used the chain before I could. On the one after 2nd boss I was able to use it even though it's a normal dungeon.

Growl being on is a bug! It toggles off when you enter the dungeon, but if you lvl in the dungeon it will toggle back on, its very annoying :D

Weird, I've seen it be on straight from the start of the dungeon, but who knows what the case is anymore. I used to think turning it on and back off again would fix it and actually leave it off, but that doesn't seem to work either

My thought is that it was turned on since they'd lost a tank and just forgot to turn it off. Then again the other tank may have left because it was left on.

when you get the UI error about not being able to use something, use /reload and it fixes it

Man this episode has it all: A dungeon already in progress A dungeon where people abuse level scaling and turn it into a glorified walking simulator Big Vlad Pulls (tm) [Sometimes gone wrong 😂] But honestly, the moment you realised that nobody else decided to show up to your big pull, that made me laugh way too much, sorry.

I think I didn't have the macro made at that point, not sure, but yeah, I tend to use @cursor macros for anything like DnD, Flamestrike, Final Reckoning, all that stuff :D
