288-8 is an absolutely insane playoff record over an 18 year span. Imagine if that happened in real life. Would people even still watch Basketball? Would the NBA even exist? I'm not sure it's even possible though as I have to think that after like 10 dominant rings straight, a fist of top dudes in the league would all take some serious pay cuts to band together on a GIGA-team of some kind for at least a year to dethrone whichever team had just won ten straight.
In ring 6 season you won 66 games in a row to end the season, then went 16-0 in playoffs. That is 82-0 *insert eye looking emojis* ... give me shoutout for them glorious looks!! Loved the content for 5 years now!!!
Gotta love these rebuilds. Obviously this one is an exception but I love how this guy always does realistic rebuilds and tries to imitate things that teams would do irl. A lot of other 2k creators do some wild stuff which makes it a little too easy for them.
FYI, the mentor system (IIRC) works about twice as well once a player turns thirty and it may increase efficiency with age. Eg if Westbrook is mentoring a guard center the badge progression is better than a better but younger player mentoring such as Tyrese
You should do a ULTRA realistic rebuild to where you rebuild a team as REALISTIC AS POSSIBLE and really role play of an actual GM and what a GM would really do for both sides. I know you vids are still realistic, but a hyper realistic one would be extremely interesting
Gotta make a video showing where the players ended up in the all time records, like shai all time points/assists/steals, Chet blocks and rebounds etc… would be cool to see
Bro the link for the NFL/MLB gaming channel leads to a "404 Not found" page. Don't know if I'm the only one experiencing that problem. Would love to see you having an MLB rebuilds page.
Cason is 6’3 with almost a 6’9 wingspan, was 195 at the combine. Very fast laterally, 36in vertical. He turned 20 in November and he’s on his rookie deal for 3 more seasons. 76GP, 20.7MPG, shooting 41.9% 3P on 2.9att. 58.5% 2P on 2.5att. 7/2.3/1.4/1, 0.6TOV. Shooting 47% corner 3 lol. 75% at the rim. In college he averaged 11.7/3.7/4.3/2. I wonder if he can be like a Caruso type role player. He’s already at 5 3PA PER 36, if he could shoot 39%+ on like 5att per game playing 28-30MPG while being an elite perimeter defender, guarding 1/2s and some 3s, he’d be immensely valuable. He doesn’t need to be a lead ball handler, just a secondary one who plays with another lead ball handler. If he could become that kinda guy in the next few years man OKC would be beyond absurd. They’d just need one more big F at that point that can shoot, plus all the cheap bench guys, it’d be wild.
It was funny asking if OG is too small at the 4 when OKC plays a 6’5 JDub at the 3/4 (7’2+ WS & is jacked, like 225 tho), a 6’3 Dort (6’8.5” WS, 225lbs) at 3, then you have Aaron Wiggins at 4 who’s 6’5 (6’9.75” WS, 190lbs) 😂. OG is around 6’7 with a 7’2+ WS and weighed in at 232 at the combine, so he’d be awesome on this team. A 4 man of SGA JDub OG Chet is pretty crazy, smallest guy is 6’5-6’6 and e1 is a good to great defender. Idk who’d be in the last spot tho. I’d be open to moving both Giddey and Dort w picks to get someone tho. I don’t think Dort is part of the future. Giddey prolly not either though I’d understand arguments against that. I like Cason a lot, he could be like a secondary ball handler who hits C&S 3s and defends the perimeter at a high level, especially POA against guards. He’d def be a keeper for me off the bench. Then maybe Isaiah Joe as a bucket getter. He’s 6’4 with a 6’8 WS, kinda skinny. But man he’s been 39.8% 3P on 9.3att PER 36 career and 41.4% 3P on 9.6att PER 36 in OKC in 145GP. He has TO in 24-25 too so unless he’d extend for like 3/33 or like 4/44, maybe 4/48 with Y4 being only like 3M gtd, something team friendly, I’d just let that play out too. Wiggins has good size for a SG and seems to be a decent defender. Solid finisher, solid from floater range, shot the 3 p well in college on good volume and has been good on low volume in the NBA. He has a team option in 24-25 so I’d just pick it up and see how he plays. Try to get his 3P volume up, see if he can shoot well on like 5-6 3PA PER 36 and be a 3&D guy. But ya I’m 100% shopping Dort and Giddey this summer, maybe see what one or both of them can get you, or attach a pick or two to one. Maybe the HOU 1st plus Dort & filler if needed, or something like that. Idk who’s rly on the market tho and you eventually have to pay e1. If I can move Giddey to SAS for some juicy picks I’d do that, don’t wanna pay him a ton of $. Then I’d be looking for a 6’7-6’9 3&D F, and try to find out if Cason can be a starter or what his role is along w Joe and Wiggins. A younger Jerami Grant, like a Brandon Miller or Jabari Smith jr type is ideal to start tho. I went on a crazy tangent here lmao, and I’m not even an OKC fan. Sorry! Keep it up SROS!
Hi Matt 😊 can you do some 10 years rebuilds with 60+ win teams, who looks good in regular season but fail in post season to go to the finals and win championship 🏆. It could for example 2014-2015 Atlanta Hawks or some other team. 😊
You need to focus on bench rotation in your videos, it will help your record. For example Can’t just have a bench with two forwards and 2 centers. Gotta have guys who can play the point guard too
