The audience tips about the comment section is really great. I’ve been asking my commenters more about themselves in the comment section. I used to use closed-ended responses, but now, I really interact with the commenters. It helps boost the sense of community and multiplies the comments on my videos, which tremendously helps the algorithm!
Comments sections can be crazy places, but I've been so happy with the friendly people who are spending time here and on some other channels I manage. Do you kick off the discussion in your comments with an opening question or do you just wait to see how things unfold? I'm thinking about "seeding" the comments of my next few videos with an open-ended question to see if that helps.
@@MarketStreetMedia I have no idea. I try to turn it into a conversation, and it seems to be working in most cases. I’m really surprised by how much people will continue to interact… although, I will admit that sometimes I worry if I’m interacting with a creeper (present company excluded, of course).
Honestly, I didn’t even have the skills to get 1,000 subs when I first started. It takes time and practice for the average RU-vidr to learn all of those things.
@@MarketStreetMedia Vacation season! 😄 We’re actually down by ten thousand views per month than we were bout six months ago, so it gives me hope that we can blow up again in May and June. We were making some good money in those days, too!
The first 1,000 subscribers are the most difficult but once you achieve that anything is possible. Keep putting in the work and you will hit 1,000 subs in no time. I wish everyone the best of luck growing their channel.
I really like your RU-vid Growth Secrets series featuring top RU-vidrs. I subbed to your channel because of that. I believe if you just focus on that ONE type of content, your channel will blow up. Cut out all the other contents - they're holding your channel back. Also, you gotta improve on your thumbnail game too. They're all over the place right now. Gotta find a consistent style.
Blown away by your channel. So cool! Very thankful for your feedback. Yes, those creator compilations are fun to make and have helped me grow for sure. Who else should I make videos about in your opinion? And I hear you on the thumbnails. I've tested a lot of things for sure and have been watching CTR closely. You're 100% right.
@@MarketStreetMedia Dude, take your pick man. There are so many popular RU-vidrs left for you to do. Just go down the list of top 100 RU-vidrs based on subscriber count. Well obviously you can't do ones that are companies but focus on individual creators. And I am dead serious. If you JUST focus on this series and cut out everything else, I believe that's going to be the fastest way for your channel to grow / blow up. My channel is not the best example since I still focus on 3 different games instead of 1. I know if I just focus on 1 and cut out the other 2, my channel will grow even faster. But these games are too dear to my heart that I cannot sacrifice them. However, I am working on a new channel right now that's focused on only one niche / one game. I am going all in on that channel in 2022 and I am confident it's going to do really well. I know as creators we want to create all kinds of contents. But RU-vid algorithm really favors channels that focus on only one thing per channel. You can always make a separate channel for your personal creative outlet. Anyway, as much as I'm giving you this advice, it is the advice I've learned recently (after so many years on RU-vid) that I will finally implement myself and have absolute confidence that it's the fastest way to grow on RU-vid. Well, good luck to both of us.
Wow but look at all the views you're getting! The food in your videos looks delicious! I can only imagine how good those recipes taste. Thanks for watching! I'm subscribing to your channel so I can learn some new things to try in the kitchen.
Thanks for the tip, it can really get frustrating when you don't see the growth 🙂 but the important thing is to be patient and keep creating and improving as you go and just enjoy the journey.
Definitely enjoying the journey! Grateful that you came to watch. What seems to work best on your channel? Seems like you have a very positive message to share...I'm sure people enjoy that!
@@MarketStreetMedia Mostly I share what's on my heart in the hope to motivate whoever might need it, using my experiences. So they kind of get my genuineness because I do share relatable stuff. So I'd say being genuine helps with lessening the pressure.
@@MarketStreetMedia Oh wow! Thank you so much brother! Your support is greatly appreciated. Let me know what you think...we've come long way of learning how to, our videos are getting a little bit better each time, compared to our first videos. Thanks again for your help!
I currently have 304 subs. I have no doubt you’ll far surpass 1000 soon! You have such great content and I love to see an awesome channel like yours sharing your own journey and growing pains. Keep up the great work!
This video was interesting to watch and even got more interesting when you talked about been open to collaborations. I am in the same boat like you, worried that I don't have much to offer another youtube creator in terms of collaboration but I am just going to indicate my interest in doing a collaboration with you anyway. Interest stated, 😁 now let me go think about the actual collaboration (just incase this works) Regardles, good job.
Thank you so much for watching, Ogenna! I'd love to collab with you. I'm going to watch your content this weekend and I'll shoot you a message. Thanks!
28 days 8 subs started off as something to do on the side. starting to rethink about investing more of my time with that much growth as far as I can tell. mind you I know nothing about what I'm doing learning as I go
