Not tried it, quite like some of the AIM-TTI things, I have a couple of power supplies from them and also have fixed quite a few - they have also been very helpful giving me repair information unlike some companies I could mention. But it is 5x the price I paid for this load! Maybe if one comes up for repair I might pick it up.
my korad kel103 works when in the 230v position but not in 115v? also usb and ethernet not working any help . if not im going to have to return thanks in advanced
Not sure what to suggest. I have seen quite a bit of discussion about problems getting comms to behave, i recall having quite a faf to get mine working, just can't remember the details. 230 vs 115 sounds like a problem with the switching.
I think there are dome solvents, but you would probably need to know what the coating is. I think I,m going to repair a lathe speed control soon, and that js going to be coated, I might try some neat acetone - outside!
@@MakeOrRepair Tried that too, on some hi power battery charging boards (think they were used for forklift charges or the like). No effect whatsoever. That stuff is n.a.s.t.y.
@@xConundrumx let's hope someone else has suggestions, I have a couple of strong solvents to try but never had any luck so far, just occasionally heat has helped it come off easier.
@@MakeOrRepair from what I gather there are some pens (like marker pens almost) that have solvents specifically for this but I sure can't find them over here in Europe.
@@xConundrumx RS-Online sell them - Watch this space for a review video, I have some liquid on order (more cost effective than the pens) which should remove several, and soften others for manual removel, but some 2-part epoxy based ones apparently need manual removal - the specialist companies actually use a type of mini sand-blaster
