Greg was wicked smart and insightful. Still crazy that he called it so early on but if anyone would Be able to make an accurate prediction it would be Giraldo

I think Anouyz got it right here. "He fit the picture." At the same time, he got decent at stand-up and comedy and then shows and acting.

@@Anouyz exactly... there were already many fully grown knee-high black comedic performers with preteen voices that could be the go to sidekick for any major project for decades to come. . . KH's main talent was being pliable. . . he didn't have a strong character of his own (he still doesn't, but watch thru his appearance on this show, and you can see how rough he is... he's the baby of the show, the kid brother they're corrupting.), so he wasn't as likely to be locked into only one shtick. . . which ended up crippling many of his more famous contemporaries back in the day - more so, because they tried to fight against being typecast. KH would have been happy to just be a character actor as long as he could keep working. Which is a healthy mindset to have in this biz. Like any other industry, you gotta keep your resume active. Back in the day, he had a lot of competition for the same roles, the same gigs, same opportunities. . . but now, most people can't name more than one competitor. Because all those other cats egos, sense of celebrity, went to their heads. You can take time out, but you stop moving and things grow stagnant pretty quickly, and it's difficult to recover. Never mind all the people drama. For real, his only serious drama was with Jada hoax. . . and put that to the strength of having the kind of career and sensibilities he's maintained from first starting out. I say all this and I don't even like KH. Also, for Greg, he had a moment of his own before getting on TC, where he thought he had it made, his big break and then it ended before it really began, he never really recovered from losing that... hence, he met a predictable end, not unlike many of his ethnic (neither quite here nor there, a much smaller niche) contemporaries.

Everything I’ve ever seen her on has been horrible. Trying to remember who’s roast she was on where she bombed worse than anyone else has ever bombed on a roast

@@reddwood4971 when she's not "on" she's stellar but you're never going to see that personally, so you'll never understand why she's plugged into these guys. Short of it: She's knew where all the bodies were buried and was someone they could call at 2am when they needed a ride, a shovel, both or a spliff. One of the few women that could tolerate them. Not only tolerate but actually like them, party with them, no real judgment. She's also written jokes for most of them and out of everything else, she's a better producer than performer. She's just been in the trenches when they were all babies. So, it doesn't matter that she bombs more than the she lands,. The fact that she stuck with it, still managed to find gigs in this industry, still maintained decent relationships, escaped major dramas, feuds and other bs... is saying a lot. It doesn't get enough respect even if as a performer, she's just low mid at best.

Yep. RU-vid is almost no better. There are a couple segments of Tough Crowd RU-vid has given me strikes for & denies all my appeals to keep hosted. One is a segment about black people always being late with 3 black comedians including Kevin Hart. Hilarious segment that RU-vid has decided to keep censored for no good reason.

@@StephenLapage Ugh, I didn't even know that. Another reason to dislike her. Anyway, I didn't know Shane Gillis fans like Tough Crowd. I've seen a bit of him and I like him, but none of the younger guys ever come close to being as bold/un-PC as these guys were on Tough Crowd. Even including the relatively "wild" guys like Gillis, Chris DiStefano, Theo Von, Tim Dillon and Mark Normand. Those guys would probably distance themselves from anyone making the jokes that Colin, Nick, Greg and Jimmy make on this show.

Kevin hart has always been solid. watch every episode of tough crowd. Kevin hart is maybe the most consistent. Him & Patrice worked together really well, at least watch the episodes they are on together.
