007 Nightfire Makes Irish Man Cry 

Reupload because in the original video I used some "royalty free" creepy music. Turns out it wasn't royalty free so I got a copyright claim. No big deal, I figured I'd use RU-vid's built in editor to remove the part with the copywritten music. That edit then broke the end of the video so it just wouldn't play the last 6 or 7 minutes. Very fun experience. My apologies for any inconvenience.

I always love when there's deep breathing and this man increases the volume for it.

When my brother and I played this as kids, we'd jump in and out of the hole outside and crack up laughing as the guys kept going "HE'S IN THE HOLE" "HE'S OUTTA THE HOLE".

Shooting a guy, being spotted, and instantly grabbing the smg with 0 regard for stealth is pretty much the James bond I remember. It always starts with 2 min of stealth lol

The underwater mine level is literally where I stop my playthroughs every time when I revisit Nightfire if I'm not using an emulator with save states. Love everything else about the game EXCEPT for that part, that level can go to hell for not including normal save points

Chain reaction is such a cool level. Also the ones in the Phoenix building. And the Phoenix base. And the mayhew private domain in Japan. And the castle in Austria... Damn, yeah this game has the best bond levels.

Don't remember much of the story mode , just going to my friends house in the late 90s / early 2000s and all crowding around the PS2 and playing the multiplayer, on the skyrail map one of us would be at the castle with the sentinel guided rocket thing and the other would be at the hotel thing at the other side of the map trying to snipe them. Also grappling hook and oddjobs hat.

"Oirish Man Get's Angry At Old Video Games" is a genre I didn't know that I wanted.

After N64 Golden Eye, "Agent under fire" is my personal favorite Bond game. This was because the split screen pvp was so fun. The hook shot, ability to adjust speed, and all that kind of stuff was just so good.

I missed the post about the re-upload and thought I was living in Groundhog Day.

They really needed checkpoints in that water level, would have improved the game a whole point. And maybe some on foot sections on the island surface (But not the long, boring on foot section in the shitty gearbox port)

The game gives away that Kiko is the villain the moment you start playing multiplayer mode.

The sniper-level makes me long for a Metal Gear Solid 2-video. There's a funky PC-version of it with some cool extra modes. Would something like that be on the table anytime? :-)

I actually found the game guide for nightfire at my local 2nd hand shop and i would love to try playing through it using the guide. I loved this game as a kid and we would paly it so much. I dont think any of us could beat the campaign because of how hard it was to us back then.

When I first played that Sniper level, it was absolutely brutal. Took me forever to complete it because it really feels like the enemies have aimbot on. Just one tiny hair outside of cover and the ENTIRE enemy regiment sees you.

Descent was playtested by one guy, who lucked his way through it without failing once. The devs said "good enough" and never touched the level again.

I do not remember having this much trouble with the submarine level. I thought the mines were on, like, patrol loops, and you can go as slow as you like so long as you avoid their paths. It's also possible young-me just memorized the right way to go through cuz I played that game a zillion times XD

Those guys tossing the C4 onto the elevator are in so much trouble. Drake might have let them get away with it had they been successful in stopping Bond. But now he got away AND Drake has to take the stairs from the 80th floor to leave the building? I suspect they'll be taking a one-way down the elevator shaft.

Man, this game is such a throwback for me, used to play the multiplayer for hours with my cousins. Looking back the single player is really short lol, but it didn't seem like that at all when I was like 9 or whatever.

As much as Deep Descent used a cool gimmick of an underwater car, it was easily the most stressful mission of 007 Nightfire. Very unforgiving with zero checkpoints if you die.
