Thank you for showing me the things I could not achieve on my own when I was much younger and full of curiosity. I wish we could play a round of Nightfire on the ski resort map. Then again you'd probably get me with the odd job hat while I was running on top of the gondola cable.
That rainy night, office mission is one of my favorite memories that I have as a youngster. It not only was awesome, but that time in my life was awesome back then.
I miss this game so much. Beside GTA SA, this was the most played game I had as a kid. The maps were so awesome, the weapons, the ways you could approach each objective... There will never be a Bond game as fun as this and Goldeneye.
Such a good james bond game one of the best. The graphics were so good for its time and the multiplayer was fun played it for hours. Might have to break out the game cube and play it now lol.
Bro I feel you me my brothers and cousin used to play skyrail and some neighborhood friends at the time. Such a good game and a lot of great memories. Had to come back and re visit this core memory . It’s crazy how time flies and some of the greatest games go to the wayside
Its like I am seeing something I was never supposed to see in the first place, I had this game as a kid and I absolutely loved it, but I had no idea there were so many secret areas, alternate paths, and strats
Funny part aswell is that the console & pc version where totally diffeent pc has other whole different levels wile the console has others aswell only some parts are the same very strange wenn you think of it but thia was the same to some other major gamea during the time
This will always be my favourite James Bond game without question. That intro song is so iconic. That multiplayer mode still holds up despite the poor AI. Everything was a big improvement over Agent Under Fire. That voice acting is still fantastic. Such a shame Pierce couldn't voice James. Just like Agent Under Fire, this game had a very interesting development and was almost rushed. Hopefully stuff like assets and builds for these classics appear on the internet one day. Fantasic playthrough!
@@TheRisingTide89 Considering GoldenEye is literally under 100 MB of data on a cartridge there is no way it can be remotely better than this game no matter how nostalgia driven you are....
Ugh this game is just so... so SO damn good.... SO many unbelievably happy memories from playing this as a kid. It was my first ever multitap game I had & I used to love playing it for ages with my friends as kids. Still love the multiplayer to this day!
Watching the cutscenes in The Exchange reminded me that this game was originally made for 4:3 aspect ratio. It's interesting to see where the developers put assets and models when they weren't immediately needed for a scene.
I remember loving agent under fire, and being skeptical when I first picked this up at a target back in 2005ish. Fucking loved it and played through it so many times. The few times I brought it to friends house we ended up spending hours in multiplayer. Now just waiting on a copy I bought off ebay to come in the mail to relive some good ol' memories...
This nostalgia trip genuinely brought a couple tears to my eyes. I remember firing up the PS2 and starting up this masterpiece of a game as soon as i got back home from school. It's easily one of my favorite games of all time. A HUGE thank you for sharing this!
@Mosquito Exactly, i played this on pc and i couldn't understand why it seemed like entire levels were missing. The PC version is just all around terrible.
@@BigAssNigga311 Probably another developer and or engine. It's the same with Need For Speed :Hot Pursuit 2 which is way better on ps2 compared to pc and xbox as it was developed by another studio. PC will always be the best version otherwise.
The visuals in this game are impressive for its time. Up there with MGS2 I can say that this is one of the most visually impressive games of its console’s early days.
So nostalgic, impossible to explain. Me and my cousin used to play this together. Hes no longer with us, but ill always remember playing the multiplayer with him. No telling how many times i beat the single player campaign as a kid either.
Custom missions for this would be insane. My step brother and I used to stay up all night and sneak over to my tiny 12 inch tube TV to play this. Good times. We used to hole up in skyrail and wait for all the bots to come and kill us. Some of my best childhood memories are centered around this game. Thanks for the playthrough.
The devs of the Hitman games are working on a new Bond game. It's gonna take about 3 years before it releases, but it's called project 007. That title is temporary, untill the have a proper title.
I just noticed at 4:53 they paid homage to the mistake in Diamonds Are Forever when the Mustang drives through the alleyway on one set of wheels and appears on the opposite set on the other - they did the same thing in this cutscene. Brilliant.
@@frankdelaware7012 Debating between TimeSplitters or Everything or Nothing for my next longplay, both will take a while though. I was kind of waiting for Dolphin devs to fix the framerate on EoN and From Russia With Love but they don't seem to address it. They emulate at 30fps instead of the native 60.
This game was one of my go to games as a kid. The multi-player you could fill out with bots, and the campaign had choices on how to do the missions to break up the repetitiveness.
Y’all call of duty lovin people ain’t got nothin on this game or halo 1 on the original Xbox! Both this and halo 1 are 100 million times better than call of duty will ever be! Fight me!
Back when EA delivered the franchises and games to satisfy gamers and themselves. Nowadays, they're mostly for themselves, slap titles of said franchise and wait for the money to roll in. They almost redeemed themselves with Jedi Fallen Order, but that is not enough yet.
Now that Daniel Craig’s 007 is done imagine they go back to this type of Bond I mean I like Daniel Craig’s gritty more “real” version but there’s something about the super secret agent 007 that hits different, imagine they made this into a movie with a new 007 I think it would be a refreshing change for the series get more people back involved in the movies/ games
i used to play this on gamecube when it came out and i thought that overwriting a save meant the file would disappear. For the first year i had the game i just had to keep replaying it from the beginning mission every time i played because i didn't know any better. I think i was 5 or 6 maybe.
Man I remember my 6th grade year we got what we would consider a lot of snow in Tennessee and had no school for over 2 weeks straight. My neighbors and I would sit and play this for hours on end every day and this just brought back some of my favorite memories. That whole year had some amazing games. This, halo, nhl hitz, mlb slugfest, max payne are just a few quickly coming to mind.
Literally all I would do on snow days (at least ones where there wasn’t enough to have a solid outside snow day) here in NC. And yup, with my neighbor across the street. We’ll still randomly text ab this game...I found this YT vid today and immediately sent it to him.
Born in 2000 me and both parents played this non stop and being 4 years old I recall getting yelled at messing up a mission 😂. Great family bonding love those days. Thanks for this video !
How many people actually watched the full video or did they just watch about 1-5 mins then comment. I am in the process of watching this full video and acknowledging all these great strats. Currently on minute 6 and yes I am watching the full video. Enjoying the graphics and the nostalgia to. After this video I am going to check if you have done the matrix game yet from 2002 it's a masterpiece absolutely amazing.
Haven't done that, no, but I did play it a lot as a kid! Despite its flaws I enjoyed it quite a lot. Sadly it's emulated incorrectly and the PC version is hard to get running too.
This game was so important to me. Beat the story with my Dad (i was young, so I needed help lol). I would also play multiplayer with my whole family (which we called Family Bond Nights) as well as neighbors and friends. Amazing game.
Esse game é muito bom, joguei ele em 2009 e não sabia como fazer as missões como espião pra ganhar as medalhas platinum. 13 anos depois encontro essa gameplay.
Was the character model glitching in The Exchange cutscenes always there? Like Drake freezing as he leaves, Zoe appearing frozen while Bond and Dominique kiss before she actually comes in moments later? Noticed it for the first time earlier (playing on GC, not emulator) and first thought was that after nearly 20 years it's starting to glitch.
I can’t decide between the exchange and chain reaction as my favorite mission. I can tell you however that I probably spent more time playing this game than any other on the ps2. Gta San Andreas included.
I know I’m like 2 years late for this vid but just respect to you dude. This popped up in my feed and felt like a legit movie considering the lovely 2 hour span. Keep up the good work!
I remember playing this on my GameCube as a kid. I like that they essentially created an original James Bond story for the game, it’s an impressive piece of work even with its rough edges.
I still wish they would remaster the bond games I would play these games nonstop as a kid and they were my childhood. And I can’t wait to see no time to die.
It was this game and Agent Under Fire that were my childhood, even on operative, I only beat Nightfire once. That glitched skybox texture in the room on the third level is ingrained in my skull. Watching such a flawless run is amazing, good stuff!
Wow so much I didn't discover as an 11 yo kid playing this game. I remember the different parts I got stuck haha. Chain Reaction was my favorite level for sure. The multiplayer was the best part of the game for me though. Me and three bots vs my friend and three bots. Doesn't get better than that.
The guided rockets and grapple phone… man it’s all coming back now 😅😂 these caused so many fights with my little brother who couldn’t use either of them properly 😭😂🤣👍
What I loved about this game is how there were multiple ways to tackle each situation, and the game didn't tell you about any of them. For example, in that first snowy level (The Exchange), you could take that side-route OR sneak in via the van OR fight your way in - all perfectly valid strategies.
@@alexgeorge501 I don't think I'll do Rogue Agent any time soon as the playthrough I did is recent and already 1440p 60FPS. Everything or Nothing runs at 30fps instead of 60fps on Dolphin so I hope they address that, as for TimeSplitters I have plans of doing an individual playthrough of 2 soon. :)
Omg… unlocked the funniest memory. On exchange when you sneak into the party, being a kid and taking hd pics of all the clevage in those dresses 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@aceofhearts573 Graphics are definetly more dated, it's built on GoldSrc. Gameplay wise it's a buggy mess that doesn't like high framerates, hit registration is non-existant and it's in general super clunky. It has its certain charm but I wouldn't play it again myself.
