007 - The World Is Not Enough N64 - Cold Reception - 00 Agent

On-rails mission. Funny that every Bond game that wasn't meant to be on-rails (Like GoldenEye) has an on-rails missions while GoldenEye doesn't.
This mission can be hard if you miss the armor, just like I missed the second one, but if you keep going fast you will be able to avoid damage. You also need to go very fast at all times if you want to unlock the exotic skins.

C: Destroy fuel dump at tower #2.
D: Get to the bottom of the peak.

Probaby the only level where you can do that, maybe a code error or programmers did not realize the auto aim was on hahha. I tell you that because I am playing this game in the highest difficult and it does it you want it or not, the auto aim will be off on the next mission.

Here's another fun fact: Goldeneye originally started out as a 2D side-scrolling shooter for the SNES but when news of the N64 started to emerge the game was then envisioned as an on-rails shooter similar to Sega's Virtua Cop. I guess even though this is an on-rails mission you still get to control your speed and strafe left and right.

Me too, I can't believe I beat it back in the day with how fast everything was going and my slow reaction time. This level was also my introduction to the Styr AUG rifle.

To get the award time make sure you tap up C rather than hold it, keep left always for armour

Lol the ski-doos First one exploded when you shot the gunner Second one was like flying in midair lol Third one exploded and still running and you went through it Fourth one you went through it with a driver on it lol Fifth one you went through it again like the fourth Sixth one exploded when you didn't shot it

I would be more scared of Graslu00 than James bond haha Graslu00 reactions are on point but there's something I'm unsure about is he a pro gamer or speed runner or both just curious it's always good to see talent especially in gaming

Haha, thanks! "Officially" I'm none of those, though I do have the World Record for Perfect Dark XBLA Perfect Agent speedrun, and I'm ranked top 1 in GoldenEye: Source and played CS:GO competitively, never really got to be professional.

Wow after 50 more tries finally beat it.... you have to shoot every single barrel with the AK and angle yourself in the middle between barrels and it automatically jumps for you..

Yeah, as it's way more precise. You can keep it in the end too if you have ammo.

Why you have auto aim in 00 agent difficult on this mission? I know it is really needed 'cause without that, the movement doesn't allow you to aim manually and sometimes don't even reach the first armor. I'm playing it in Project n64 and I can't pass of this mission.

Enable it in the options menu, it'll only work for this level.

You can go faster by tapping C-Up or go slower with C-Down. You can also switch tracks if you move left and right at the right moment so you get armour. I recommend going fast, taking armour, and killing as many enemies as you can but while going very fast. Enable auto-aim in settings if you don't have it, you'll need it.

@@Graslu00 Oh wow. Maybe the reason I was having so much trouble is because I wasn't going faster. I'm using I think control scheme 4. Does C-Up still adjust speed on that setting?
