Using vim now since a while, but rarely finding time to dig deeper. Just learned a few new cool commands, like I didn't know about S, which is awesome! As well as cw.
Nice video. Even tho I've been using Vim for about a year, this is the first time I'm hearing about 'dt;' command. I know I have a lot to explore with vim. So do you have like a guide or something to keep learning about vim?
@@theteachr But like it's useful to refresh what you know right? For someone who doesn't know about a certain command will not figure it out from the docs. For eg, the dt; one would be difficult to infer from the docs.
That's fair. I personally learnt about Vim from videos online and discussions on r/vim. The video talks about most of the things you need to know to start working with Vim efficiently. It's just a matter of exploring all the motions and operations Vim has to offer. I'd like this series to serve as the guide you're expecting. I hope. :)
