Thanks. I was a bit surprised at the core and it’s setup. I noticed later the core does not sit square, it’s a bit twisted and that is why it sticks taking it out and putting it back in. Definitely very low on the tolerance scale of manufacturing.
I always love to see the tools you use. I need to use my m,ulti picks more often.. Im still saddened that is pent a gob and gobs of money on the LLt tools i colleected. And i use them the least
I really like my Multipicks. Some are bent, the .4 and .5mm ones. I’ve already replaced them, but I continue to use the bent ones till they fully give out. I have learned not to force so much. One of my issues is that when I try harder my grip gets stronger and my tension pressure increases. I end up so focused and intense that I go ham on the pick. I’m working on that and I don’t want to break out the new tools until I learn to control that. Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@Freediver_72 indeed I can see that as a annoying thing to deal with. I personally havent had the pleasure of breaking any picks. Which can be a issue in itself, as i've always used a bit of a light tension and picking method.. (which has kept me out of a few locks I think) Bosnian Bill used to calkl it bullying a lock. I have tried bullying a lock or two and it was opened easier because of it. I only do it occasionally though. Number one issue for me is that Most picks make my hand hurt and cramp up. i have the least hand cramping with one guys picks.. that are cheaper than the rest but im sure you know Jimmy Longs picks are beast mode. haha
@@reviewguru5457 I have not broken any picks yet. When I said I have replaced the pick, what I really meant is I have bought replacement picks, but I am not using the replacements yet. For me the tighter tension is not by choice, it comes from focusing too much on the pins and I end up squeezing the lock with a death grip and as I try to finesse a pin I increase tension subconsciously. Usually tying to balance that line of setting, but not oversetting or dropping a pin. It’s dumb because lighter tension should be able to snap over easier, but don’t “think” I can feel the pins as well. But if I concentrate on tension, I can feel the pins fine with light tensioning. I have seem Jimmy Longs picks, I have not tried them yet.
