Any tips for once the rack goes in? I did this once and replaced pump (did not clean lines) and I ended up blowing the seals on new rack. Im About to try again for the second time but would love some pointers) TIA
# aMidgetOnaMoped yikes - not sure why those seals would go boom - if I remember right I kept the front wheels jacked up while I filled and turned lock to lock to get air out - less pressure on the system as it bleeds, seems like a good idea. Not sure if that rack I put in had a bleed fitting on it either, might be worth checking, but again I didn’t need it. Biggest thing to remember if it has VDC is the thing has a steering wheel geared sensor that if you don’t keep the original orientation of the steering wheel it will cause problems with VDC and ABS since it uses that sensor as an input to know if your turning or not. Good luck man!
