Hello :-) I don't know ELU, have you a website of this company please ? You can't find the XXL 300 because it's no longer manufactured. Currently, there are Superjaws SJA100E and Superjaws XXL SJA100XL Thank you for your comment :-) Mathieu

@@testoutillage ELU was a german brand that existed from 1928 - 1984 as far as I know. Wikipedia says Elumatic was the new name. But they sold their woodworking to Stanley Black & Decker and others at this time. Thanks for the information that the superjaws 300 is not more manufactered. This info saves me a lot of time

Hello :-) sorry for my bad english. Don't worry for the crack in the wall. The house is here since 1800 and all is OK :-) the crack is superficial and it's not in the wall in reality but on the roughtcast. In the future i will destroy this roughtcast, because behind of this, there is the stone :-) the thickness of the wall is about 45 centimeter :-) Thank you for watching :-) Have a good day

it's hard to find this model, now it's Superjaws XXL SJA100XL :-)

@@testoutillage Yes, I have just been discovering just that. The XXL SJA100XL seems to have superseded the 300 model. The observable differences seem to be the slightly altered geometric opening pattern of the main orange frame, the new black leg colour and the lack of a foot on the new one. Hopefully it works just as well though. I cannot believe this has been around for so many years (5 or more!) and I have been struggling along with my old Black & Decker Workmate! I am just setting off for Screwfix (an English Tool and DIY chain store - comme Mr. Bricolage) to buy one - you know what it's like when every other immediate need 'flies out of the window' and you become obsessed with just one thing? Well that's how I feel right now, and am justifying it in my mind, quite rightly, as in my property maintenance job it will be in use every single day. Also I will use it on weekends and evenings for my hobby of carving decorative wooden spoons and kuksas. This will pay for itself in no time as I will save working time, wasted time and money on damaged materials, and wasted time at the hospital with deep cuts, lacerations and sprained ankles! I usually have to justify to myself the expense when I want the new toy, but in this case it is truly reasonable, in fact it would be silly not to buy one. @@testoutillage 'Bad English'!? Your English is better than 90% of native English speakers! The only thing that makes me think you are not a native English speaker is the fact that your English is GOOD! I promise you I'm telling the truth. English people (myself included) are notoriously lazy at learning new languages because so many people have kindly made the effort to learn our language. I'm trying to learn the rudiments of Russian at the moment, but whilst many of their words are latin based like French and English, they have made a complete mess of the letters. Apparently some historical sadist called Cyril made Russian look like psychotic algebra. I believe Russian is a cold war espionage code, so little wonder it seems almost impossible to crack :-).
