Amazing video thank you! Unfortunately my Xe-2 internal battery is dying so i have 4 seconds to change the main battery before all my settings default to factory. Do you know what internal battery does the Xe-2? Can't find any information. Thanks in advance!
helpful video, i recently my xe2s always get reset every time i took off the battery, and when i see your video there is internal battery on the motherboard, is there any chance i can replace it with the new one? if it so whats type the battery did the camera use?

Hello sir, can you help me answer my question. Is it the same lcd screen XE2 X100T and X100F? I googling about the specs is the same lcd screen 3" 1040k dot. Because i try to replace my X100F lcd screen with XE2 lcd part replacement. Thank you for the answer sir
sorry to bother you, but i've had an issue with 2 different fujifilm cameras (xe2 & xt1 ) , they stopped switching on , without any evident reasons. the only thing that comesi in my mind is that i've shooted some commercial pictures in a quite dusty ambient (marble workshop).there is any chanche to disassembly the camera and try to clean the power switch ? Many thanks in advance M.
Ciao Matteo 😉 Marble dust is very abrasive, if gets inside may create some damage. One thing that I noticed is that the switch power is quite sensible and tends to fail easily. The only way is to open up the camere and investigate, might need a microscope or a watch repair loupe to see in details the conditions. Not easy work to be honest, lots of steps to reach that point…
Hello, my xe4 turns on, but the lcd just lights up in black. When turned off again, the lcd stayes on. Only by removing the batterie it (of course) stops working. Do you have any idea what could be wrong? Thanks fpr your help! :)
Brilliant! So, I have an XE1 that stopped turning on. Most of what Ive read says its probably the motherboard and after some basic trouble shooting I feel like it is. So I have 2 questions, first, is there a good place to buy aftermarket boards, and is it worth replacing because ive seen notes about the boards still needing to be calibrated by fuji after the install, and second between the xe1 and 2 is the disassembily about the same as whats shown here? Ive only ever seen one other disassembally of an xe1 and it wasnt as in depth as this.
Great video! One question. The 'battery latch' (the red/orange battery retaining clip} on my X-E2s is broken. Does the whole battery compartment need to be replaced as I don't think this clip is available seperately from Fuji. Thanks in advance for your reply.
AMAZING DUDE!...ONE QUESTION ...I HABE PROBLEMS WITH THEBACK SHUTER SPEED DIAL..I DOES NOT RESPONSE SOMETIMES.IT GOES WELL WHEN YOU PRESS IT TO MAKE ZOOM BUT IT DOES NOT GOES RIGHT WHEN YOU WANT TO CHANGE THE SHUTER SPEED .ANY SUGGEST?...THANKS SO MUCH
Thanks. This is a common problem with those dial wheels on Fuji’s. Not an easy way to fix either, the easy way is to replace the top circuit board… Another one would be to spray some electronic cleaner trough the wheel space and then moving the wheel back and forth for a minute or more but that’s nasty and doesn’t work every time…
Thank you, the video is great. My display started flickering today and now I wanted to see how to replace the display. It seems to be feasible for me. The only question I have is where do I get the adhesive sealing strips to glue the new display back in place?
Hello! Very nice video! I just got a xe2 for 80$, everything works except evf, apperntly the camera bumped against something and the evf went black. Im thinking maybe check if cable has come loose first? Is there shortcuts to getting to the evf?
It's enough to take the tree little screws off, you can see it at minute 54:14:00 I would highly recommend to work on an empty table and possibly completely clean room at least 30 minutes before you open up the sensor. Usually this operation require an extremely clean room, specifically made for this kind of work.
