I love the car. My dad recently retired form his auto collision business a few years ago and at one point he worked on this model of mustang, same color and wheels. It may have had flowmasters but I absolutely loved it and always wanted one from that day. Hope you post more videos.
Thanks for the kind words. She's a keeper for me for sure! I'm happy to post more and open to video suggestions or whatever anybody would like to see (in storage now, but will be back out in spring)
What made you change from the Flowmaster? I’ve had Bassani mufflers for 6-7 years and I’ve considered going with Flowmaster for a change. I’m in my 40s and grew up with Mustangs and Flowmasters. Such an iconic sound.
Great question. It was mostly curiosity to see how it would sound and to see if the straight-flow would make any difference in performance versus chambered, and didn't want it to be too loud (why I didn't go bullet-style like Borla or SLP). That said, I'll likely go back to chambered, because I am also old school and had about a half a dozen foxbody's & can't help myself.
@No Average Joe That's what I thought. I see a lot of comments in other videos that say chambered mufflers kill power, whereas straight through mufflers help power, and these are people with NA bolt-on cars with only 300-400 hp.
