@@sornevolution2263 If she was graped, why would she, the very next day, text him and flirt with him and plan to meet up with him again? How come she only accused him once they said 'no' when she demanded they take the video down?
Exactly, some people think its a minor thing such as saying an offensive word, I don't consider that minor but it is a small action compared to what he has done so far. An apology video won't cut it, he needs to be put in prison.
I agree but David needed to address this too, he said so himself he should have been in the room making sure everyone was safe. Ultimately this was Doms original idea, but David used it for his content and even helped orchestrate it so he was responsible in some ways as well
Wait I actually remember that, I completely forgot about that video he for sure knew what could happen and tried to actually do something I’ve always had more respect for him
People are saying David didn’t need to apologize but I feel like that isn’t totally accurate. He held himself accountable for past mistakes. Of course he is not responsible for Dom’s action but he did screw up and taking accountability for it was the right thing to do. He is not blameless in this situation and it’s good that he’s taking steps to try and right his own wrongs.
don’t forget that DOM needs to go to jail this is not “canceling” what he did is a CRIME! he needs to go to jail! (i just wanna say that i don’t mean that david shouldn’t be held accountable)
@@hughjass2745 that’s completely false some people are just a lot more mentally strong then other not to mention men are less likely to have breakdowns when it’s important and instead break down later and there have been videos talking about David breaking down
3 years later and my comment still stands. David did not give 2 shits about Jeff and his Injuries. Till this day this dude still sickens me. He should of paid for all the injuries, I feel like when he was operating the crane, he did it on purpose but didn’t expect it to take such a bad turn.
i hate how everyone is acting like this is “drama” or “tea”. like an actual woman got raped stop downplaying the situation. edit: i’m not saying david downplayed the situation (even though he did at first), I’m talking about drama channels, twitter posts, news articles, etc. I’m just talking about rape culture in general
I mean like they should send doms ass to jail and now David explained him self just stop these people probably have really shitty lives they just want some drama nothing else
exactly. this situation is all over tea pages and drama channels and it just doesn't sit right with me. more people are profiting from the victims trauma and i hate it
i get what ur saying but until the victims press charges they won’t have to face any kind of consequences. bringing light to the situation is why they lost partnerships. at least they are facing some sort of consequences this way
He 100% needed to apologize for his actions meaning “enabling the situation where they felt unsafe” but it is 1000000% Dom’s fault. He should be arrested and never see the light of day again. But David is doing the right thing by holding himself accountable
I swear this comment section is full of bots and the like to dislike ratio is being manipulated by the RU-vid gods who want to keep their golden boy on the platform
Might be hard to convict Dom knowing all the women showed up at a video shoot about having a five way sexual tryst.. And no I'm not justifying anything that happened.
i love that he called them survivors and not victims. i love the credibility. i love the way he doesn’t care about his reputation over voices that NEED to be heard
Yeah that’s very considerate of him to call him survivors, but he DID choose his own reputation over the voices that needed to be heard that’s why he ended up where he is now- facing these scandals against him that now are brought to light and now having to publicly apologize to ally and Hannah and other girls who were assaulted by Dom and even admitted it himself that he made jokes about it and platformed Dom instead of believing the women back then. If this never happened, David would still never apologize
He 100% cares about his reputation- that’s why he took so long to make this video. He knew girls were being assaulted by dom and he chose to do nothing and KEEP BEING FRIENDS WITH DOM. He does not care.
@@bunnybubbles3974 he tried to sue the person who was writing the article the hole time before it was published. Trying as hard as he can to keep it from being released. he isn't sorry he doesn't care.

@@chennae91 Trisha has been 'cancelled' for legitimate things plenty of times, but everyone still loves her. David get's 'cancelled' for something 2 of his friends did, apologises and you're still on her side 😭😬😂
This is sad cause I grew up watching David and that we completely ignored what had happened. Whether we like it or not Dom needs to go to jail for what he did.
It’s so sad because Dom was David’s full on childhood friend and now he finds out that he’s such a bad person is soo sad to watch because David really trusted Dom
ummmm dom has been a dirty womanizer with bad morals just talking about “fucking hoes” since the beginning??? i’m sorry but like seriously he had so much time to notice he’s not a good person, and you’re proving that as well by bringing up they’ve been friends since childhood.
@@bluefamiliar you don’t always notice bad things about the people you love. Also Dom in the vlogs always had permission and was never SA so take all that into consideration before hating on him. He’s trying to be the better person and own up to it so just move along.
Not defending him I don’t think he should’ve gotten all the jar and everything I feel like he didn’t really do much and why did it take the girls this long to speak up about it and everything like honestly it’s their fault they did “consent” but it’s not like they hated it either and probably regretted it and then called it SA. If you’ve read this far I’m kidding he deserves to be in jail
Exactly!, I’m not saying David’s at fault but he definitely did feed into doms nasty ego and even made dom sleeping around with girls a key part of his earlier videos
I remember that one video with Dom touching Corrina's upper thigh, and her yelling at him “can you stop trying to touch my va*ina” and everybody just laughed with her looking uncomfortable AF the entire bit.
You guys also have to know that Corinna did stuff like this as well and even if it was just a joke or for the vlog it was still along the line of the same topic. But why has nobody called her out on anything oh right because she is a woman. I’m not sayin what Dom did was okay just stopped picking and choosing who to go after. We literally have cardi B and Riley Reid also admitting to r*ping men but everyone sees it as it’s not a thing because the men probably wanted it anyways, which is just sad how easily you can push it off.
@@adityashinde4084 his close friend allegedly raped someone, maybe even multiple people , and he enabled it and didn’t stop when he could’ve it which is why people were mad.
Congratulations on becoming a responsible adult. You are still young and have a lot to learn but your on your way. Asking for forgiveness in a true and apologetic way is a big step so thank you. @@wild1310 what he did was also a crime, mate. therefore, jailtime or legal punishment is required. however, it's the victim's choice whether or not to press charges and unless things are being handled privately, i don't think she has or is going to do so.
basically growing up with his vlogs since i was thirteen and seeing all of this stuff is crazy. i saw that video and laughed when that girl was having the worst experience of her life. ignorance really is fucking bliss.
I think that’s the worst part about his vlogs, it normalized bullying, humiliation of friends, prejudice and even normalized getting people black out drunk in order to have relations with them. He put all of these scenarios in a positive light.
Bel Barcelos I’m not “for David” but he never put it in a positive light, he edited to where it’s wild and crazy and they were laughing but he just shows off his rambunctious friends he always made fun of them because they are not people to be inspired to be they’re just characters part of his video and made that clear. But it’s his platform that made him blow up which you think he’s putting it in a positive light but it’s not it’s just putting them in the “stage” light
@@hindzereb49 David posted a blog 3-4 years back I don't really know It was about how he forced or instigated dom (his friend) to have a threesome with two random girls One of the girls says that she was forced drunk and allegedly raped He deleted that vlog a long time ago and after that David stopped filming Dom in his vlogs recently one of the girls who was forced drunk came out and explained the whole story It's basically a rape allegation against the vlog squad and mostly dom
I don’t think people are mad that he is apologizing, people are mad that it took too long for him or anyone involved to give an apology especially during a time where they are losing sponsorships and money. So people don’t know whether it’s genuine or a front to protect and keep their source of income. A terrible situation. My heart goes out to the victims of this situation.
its more than 85 percent genuine because if he cared abt sponsors and money he wouldnt have left his own business, would he? and he made an apology before but he and many others didnt like the way it came out
I totally get why people are saying "he's apologizing for Dom he shouldn't have to" and "this is Dom's fault not David's", but what I took from this video was David apologizing for his own role in the incident(s), and while yeah we should all be looking more at Dom than David, I think David did a good job with this apology video and said what he needed to say.
So does david... he produced, directed, filmed and published this video and then tried to scrub it from the internet. I guarantee if he was poor he would not be able to escape the justice system...a lot of people don’t realize that he’s a naturalized citizen meaning he could be deported.
@@Usualeclectic at that time he didn’t know the r*pe was happening, the victims made it clear she won’t press any charges, so no one is going to jail, not even dom the guy who committed the crime.

well done sir. I think the words you are looking for is 'I made a mess, and I am trying to clean it up for real now' apologies are awkward being vulnerable is humiliating but fixing your mess is courageous and priceless thank you for being who you are and being willing to show that growth and healing is possible. Growth and healing for victims. for survivors. for bystanders. rapists don't change. In this world they have no incentive to change. Not until Survivors and bystanders start being more courageous and showing that the rapists life, reputation, livelihood, even familial obligations are not more important than the ethical consideration of the safety of society. When we start having empathy for actual victims instead of their rapists negligible consequences maybe rapists won't be so emboldened with open doors and parades to welcome them in. Thank you for setting an example. Thank you for trying. I am sorry about your childhood friends choices because that is a real hurt and you identified the main cause for why bystanders do nothing or defend the rapist. we don't want to beleive that someone we trusted can also do bad things. it shakes our ability to feel like we can keep ourselves safe. but seriously, well, well done. and thank you. it means a lot to people the dont know you either.
He's a sociopath, so, forever. And also, any viewer with a decent moral compass felt David was doing a lot of wrong things in his vlogs..... IT IS CANCEL CULTURE when they held accountable to the one WHO DIDN'T PERPETRATE THOSE ACTIONS. They are all after David but nobody not even TRASHA is after DOM.

i was thinking the same thing. This is not just some dumb internet drama, these are legitimate crimes and when you break the law you should go to court or prison, not be making you tube apology videos
ABSOLUTELY. I don’t see the correlation of committing a crime and “apologizing” without saying it was crime. Clearly he’s treating a SA situation seriously 😒 . He should say he’s open to an investigation and I’ll make sure that the victims get justice. Period. But no, he’s a abuser and he doesn’t like that women are coming to together to bring down the patriarchal culture he helped instigate. The men involved, the abusers who are protecting one another, YOUR TIME IS UP.
