This will be my last mod showcase for 2023. After several delays, the video is good to go and meant to finish the year strong!

- This mod has gone through two major revisions, which is why this took me a lot of time to make the showcase for. What I thought was enough for a showcase with the MMD models became an afterthought with version 1.2's overhaul, on top of Game Update 1.05 putting a wrench in my standardized showcase format by making freecam and camera tweak .dll mods obsolete and in need of an update themselves. Going forward, KRDCD will be using NEXT models from the games themselves rather than MMD ones. This also means that the White Glint mod will be overhauled soon after the recent release of the TYPE-LAHIRE mod.

I remember someone once saying that NEXTs are gonna wipe the floor with ACs from gen 6. Now i get what they meant.

Lorewise, the ACs in 6 are just a minor step down from NEXTs while maintaining most of the upsides. A Gen-1 pilot in AC6 is very similar to a Lynx in terms of how invasive and destructive the augmentation is, but a Lynx has it worse in that they get wired directly into the NEXT's core and can never come out again, whereas an AC pilot can bail out. Technology wise, they dropped the radioactive Primal Armour system and went with less destructive materials, but the weapons maintain a similar lethality. If an AC from AC5 can 1v1 a NEXT, and 621 can 1v1 something like the Ibis systems, I'd say a NEXT is on the level of an Ibis model.

@@cptncutleg Lynx's can leave the AC, they just usually die eventually from the Super Cancer due to being right next to a Kojima Reactor while they're piloting.

@@cptncutleg No, AC6 is vastly inferior compared to Nexts and are barely better than ACs from Last Raven. Mid-weight Nexts like the AALIYAH can comfortably reach 500+ kph when normal boosting, and 1000+ kph when quick boosting and overboosting. You can barely crack 400 kph normal boosting with a lightweight in AC6. Permaflight is also stupidly easy to achieve with Nexts thanks to their better generators and boosters. Nexts have stronger weapons with the advantage of longer ranges too. They have true long range weapons like railcannons and sniper cannons that have more than double the range of anything in the AC6 universe. Next weapons also don't suffer from bullet deflection. The Next from AC5 was rebuilt using components and parts from that era, not from the ACFA universe. The performance is much worse and the only reason why it can be beaten is because the game devs aren't going to put an enemy in the game which the player cannot beat. I've said this in a different AC related video but if you pit someone with an AC from AC6 against another player using a Next from ACFA, and each player has to fight according to their game's respective mechanics, the Next pilot is going to win everytime.

@@spiidey1 Don't forget, the AP on an average NEXT is 30K. Most ACs within AC6 are 1/3 if that. ACs in AC6 rely on FCS adjustment to keep up with targets moving vastly slower. Their weapons are ineffective past 150-200m in most instances. A NEXT could run circles without even quick boosting and still maintain a comfortable distance to destroy an AC from AC6 without sustaining any damage. It's really no contest. It's two different universes though, so I guess it's really a moot point.

The AC designs from Armored Core 4 and For Answer are all things of beauty - but the AALIYAH and the ALICIA are literal masterpieces of artwork. To me, nothing else has come close since.

Honestly kind of operates to how I would expect a PCA HC to perform in terms of how it translates to AC6. Kind of makes me hopeful that if they go the route of an expansion game as they have with AC4/5 that they will build upon the systems in place and the lore that exists. We know HCs/LCs are vastly superior technologically to ACs, 621 is just a hell of a pilot. I'd imagine they'd build off the Coral Convergence ending though, so how exactly they would implement this would be challenging considering humanity across the galaxy essentially forms symbiosis with the coral. They could do something in a different location before the events on Rubicon as well though. Would love to see something on this caliber regardless though.

@@Gamzeejunior If you truly want to make a part invisible by yourself, you would need to work with UXM Unpacker, WitchyBND, FLVER and DSMapStudio, all of which are essential for importing models into FromSoftware games. For an end user, the mod contains an invisible version of the IA-C01B: GILLS (ID 8020). You can also change these four digits to another booster.
