Forget about being able to draw mechs (its pretty good anyway!) What I'm most impressed is the way you compose your scenes (especially the shot of Rusty swatting the missiles and the ship, plus how the sfx aligns with the movements even!) is so sick The close up shot of Steel Haze staring into the window, kicking it open, and shooting its Truenos in there??? Freaking brutal dude! I give this animatic a rating of 621 out of 10!

DAMN! That window shot was tight, I wish there was a POV scene in Armored Core now, I just realized there is not a single human visible in the games, the smallest thing in the game is a fuckin helicopter

I feel like armored core would be a great way to learn to draw mechs. You can literally break down each parts and learn the anatomy of them. The different makers also introduce different styles, making variety a nice option (think Balam’s sharp and rugged style vs Arquebus’s sleek and rounded look)

This may come off as a nitpick, and the animation itself is really really good, but I feel like unless it was representing the mental image of just how imposing and massive an AC is, the inside warship scene with Steel Haze Ortus kinda exaggerates the true scale of Rusty compared to just your average dude. like these things are huge and for good reason, nobody doesn't like big cool mechs but it's just a bit too oversized in the window. if you replay AC6 a bit you can find multiple points of references just in the missions: like doors and catwalks to get a slightly better feel of the size difference. The animation looks amazing but I hope this helps in the future!
